Thanks for this document. Mmmmhmmm, I think scotland is a very mistery place, and england too. Crop Circles, this beautiful chapel, stonehenge, maybe ist a door to another world.
As a bit of trivia, there are lots of people who do Bed and Breakfast on the street the chapel is on, but they won't put out signs so they don't get mobbed. You can go door to door and ask and the first person (if they are nice) might say, "I don't know B&B, but the third house and the fifth house do."
In Christian terms it is a representation of the Tree of Life.
However, according to Norse mythology Odin sacrificed himself on the Tree of Knowledge in order to gain the secrets of wisdom and creation from the severed head of Mimir, a nature God who was forever kept alive on herbs and spring water - the Green Man!
They started building this place in 1446.
the internet's a good place for learning about stuff, eh?

Rosslyn Chapel is actually in Roslin, not Rosslyn. Fact. And it's Scotland, not Scottland. But otherwise, well done.
