why did rover have to go under then they are making these other versions called Roewe just beause BMW wont sell the rest of rover to SAIC now we have to let a brilliant british car manufacture never to see the light but I still think Rover has hope hopefully something will happen like SAIC might manage to buy the rest of Rover and carry on awsome cars in the UK
Why ruin such a fine interior by putting in..that?
I've got a Rover 75 Connoisseur and I simply changed the Harmony stereo for the Symphony with a 6cd-changer in the trunk. Coming winter I'm building in 2 12" Arizona Eagle subs in the back too.
I bought the car new in June 2006 so the only choice was "take it or leave it". I think the Connoisseur SE was about €6,000 dearer anyway, so I wouldn't have bought one!
did you perform the installation yourself? I planning on installing mine the day after Christmas (when my wife will let me). I'm in a Honda Accord that also has steering wheel remote. But, I can only identify one wire from the car for the remote. Did the Rover75 have two wires to connect to, or only one? Looks great!
Yes, I installed the unit myself. Have a look in "About This Video" on the RHS for further info/links. You will need another module for steering controls on the Eclipse - the PAC SWI-ECL. Do a Google or search on eBay for availability. I am not familiar with the Honda, but if you only have one wire then the other side of the resistor network is probably already grounded. Check the Pac Audio website for compatibility with the Honda.
As far as I know, there is no "plug and play" R75 fascia. Have a look in "About this video" on the RHS for web links - I cannot post links in the comments area for some reason

Thanks for your enlightened comment.
The Symphony doesn't have:
1. Ipod connection, with full Ipod control
2. GPS, with a detachable GPS PND
3. Bluetooth
Minor features perhaps.......

And why have you bought a classic se with so much extras, why not a conniser se and it would of been cheaper!

it looks great ! but is there anywhere we can buy a 2din fascia, already fabricated and ready to use (for r75) ?

Thanks Paul. It was a bit of a struggle but worth it, I think.
I must make a better vid to show the Tomtom screen properly so people can see the phone integration etc
