woah, excuse me I'm noone to doubt the man himself, but how is fire emblem a strategy game? Advance wars is described as a 'turn based war simulation tactics game' and fire emblem is a 'fantasy rpg with turnbased battlesequences'. just sayin'

Strategy is just as much involved in Fire Emblem than it is in this game. You have to plan your moves, attack the right units with your own units, and so forth. It's more strategy than RPG by far.

In Advance Wars sometimes you can cheap your way through the mission with some APC/ T.copter magic. In Fire Emblem not so easy....

I Played This Game Before I was on the Last level but i could never beat it The guy you had to face Was HARD AS HELL! He Used Giant Rocks As his Special That'll wipe out anything!

the combat system is actually a lot like the PSP game Field Commander. I love that game. x3 the way it works actually makes a lot of sense once you get used to it.

Sweet! When you announced that you would have a new LP, didn't announce the title, and said that the game has a long prologue, I thought that you would do a Paper Mario LP, kinda to tie in with the Crystalsatr Studios LP. Haha, how mistaken I was!

I admit, I really thought it was going to be Fire Emblem, but I was wrong lol. Although Advance War seems to be closely related to Fire Emblem. I didn't realize it until I saw the video.

u attack first = u have an advantage

enemy attack first u have disadvantage

u have more units = more damage

u have less units u do less damage

Don't let what I do influence your decision. I mean, it's not like this is the only LP of the game. Not doing a game because someone else is doing it (or has done it) is a stupid excuse to never do it. It can be a sensible excuse, but in the long run, it should have no relevance.

usually this is true- but in my opinion- if you are inspired by someones LP to get the game- to do the LP afterwards doesn't seem right to me.

Otherwise I would do Hit and Run maybe a year from now. I still may do it- but I think that your LP of it was as good as it can get.

BTW, (just asking) are you eventually gonna do Road Rage or 2006

Well, there are a couple Advance Wars game I would love to LP, especially Dual Strike. My favorite in the series, because it adds onto the Cosmo Land (region right?) characters, then Macro Land, and makes for a great storyline. Intelligent Systems really impressed with this series.

Oh god advanced wars, how couldn't I have guessed it. Never played the first one, but got into the second one.

I use to bring my gba to my 8th grade geometry class and a few of my friends use to play vs against each other instead of paying attention to the class. Oh the memories.
