That might be possible .. do you have a sample video? The hand tracking is more reliable since you have a static planar background. Tracking one's head requires a little more effort to segment the head from the rest of the scene.

The video used a Microsoft LifeCam Cinema 720p but any webcam that creates a reasonable image should work fine.
