@matsflikk That's her style. When this song came out she began to develop a more darker and raspy tone. She has a raw vocal style, but she is still amazing. She's not false singing becuase she is still in key, but her voice sounds scratchy in a great way. Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson both have that similar style too.
