@metroidgoodsuit Does your system meet the minimum requirements? It probably does though that you can play Half-Life. Are your graphics card drivers up to date? Is your RAM corrupted? Also what is the error code you get and the technical information.

@Josiah2536 hey mine goes first blue screen of death, then it does blue the welcome backgroung is blue and weird like 3d and when i went to my desktop the icons and zoomed in and the background is blue and weird i think, what do i do? is it because of the video card driver?
@AnimeSongGuy It sounds like there is a problem with the driver of your video card. The icons and background are probably like that as a failure to starting up the video card driver. You may want to update or reinstall your video card driver, if you know what the video card is search it up and download its driver from its official manufacturer website. To find your video card goto: Start Menu/Accesories/System Tools/System Information then Components/Display and it will be under Name.

blue screens don't always pop up because of your video card. usually it's any defective hardware :X

i recommend you to install an uninstaller program (like revo ) , and thats what i did.
