Goldfrapp changes for every album. You can't say she's just done pop music after Felt Mountain. Black Cherry and Supernature weren't pop. Then Seventh Tree was nowhere near pop. Head First is poppy, but it's not mindless like most pop music. Goldfrapp will change for the next album. Alison is not trying to be Kylie Minogue, Alison is just being Alison. Goldfrapp's music is miles of ahead of about anything out there regardless of what genre they are doing at the moment.

@zipppit89 Im inclined to agree with Salfordwill Sometimes she just feels like she is going for something she is not. Listen to this album and compare it to all the rest. The is the only real original album they have released. Everything else is low par, and low on ideas compared to this. Felt mountain is something special and clever and I dont think goldfrap have ever hit that again. And you cant gripe like you have just someone has an opinion that you dont like.

They showed their last work and its a kind of pop electroclash, the 2 songs sounded sooo boring and similiar to any other "pop song" of these days. It's a shame because Goldfrapp was doing an amazing and original music before, like this tune. Hope they come back to that root.
