  • How many boards does one tin fix?

  • @MultiSpread - One can will fix 5 standard sized boards

  • I did my hallway, a 35 foot run and everbuild dry fix worked like a charm, no steps, no expanding for 15 minutes, no nails screws or any other fixing.

Take my word on two things, the dry fix is brilliant and quick and the guy below is talking utter...I think you'll find the word I'm looking for in his mail.

Oh and since doing the hallway I've continued on round the house insulating the walls with Gyproc Thermaline Plus 27mm, and all with drifix adhesive, never once have I had any problems.

  • This is bollocks. The stuff keeps expanding for up to 15 minutes so if you try to do a wall with it, you get steps in the joints. If you put a few mechanical fixings through, that helps keep it there.

Why would you use it on timber studwork? Surely you'd screw that immediately, rather than wait 5 mins for it to cure?

  • Does work like a charm this stuff, swear by it nowadays, dry walling adhesive is just so messy.

  • I think I will be giving that a try in the future, I am always up for quicker, easier methods

  • its the future!!!!!

  • Good to know, got hold of some of this stuff.

  • Following seeing the video I went and bought Dryfix and after using have only one comment " why didn't you tell me about Dryfix before". As far as I'm concerned this stuff is brilliant, super easy to use, makes drylining a walk in the park. It sticks like xxxx to a blanket ! need I say more.
