I don't think you even come close to understanding the situations in these parts of the world, and its not even a religious understanding, so, you can't even use that as an excuse. Ethiopia invaded Somalia, period. In every law known to man; the Somalis are allowed to fight back, but when they call to fight under the law of the creator, people like you scoff.
Its ok to fight for nationalism in your eyes, but anything you don't perceive as worthy you resign to primitive.

I hope there is an Islamic government in Somalia too. But is it wise killing each other? Is it not best to enter into negotiations and win power through persausion and reasoned agreement. I am not sure killing other Muslim is permissable! It is better to have ten years of peace followed by a non-Islamic or Islamic government inshallah. Then ten years of war followed by a non-Islamic or Islamic government. Change needs to happen with love and good reasoning not through violence and guns.

i think as muslims, an islamic gov't is a good idea. but, we definitely do not want to have the type of "islamic" govt that the taliban or saudi arabia has. the problem is that there is not one unified code, that can be applied equally and impartially. If you remember, Saudi's legal system is very vague, and has different punishments for one crime, depending on the judges whim. also, i dont think any of us want to see somalia look like afghanistan pre-2001, with ppl being whipped in the street

i think the whole idea about islamic courts were admired by hawiye clan and its not selling out

Somalia must be ruled as an Islamic state. Simple.
