@thsma2009 define "best." The judges thought otherwise. His hands look and sound great but its not just about that here...that gets you into a drum corps / drum line not an I&E championship.

Again, not to take away from this kid at all.  He's obviously a very talented player to be marching bluecoats but the drummers in the best lines don't necessarily/automatically get the highest placements in these I&E competitions.

I gotta say... as an old time drum corps guy and former marching band instructor, the beats and patterns that are being played today eclipse anything that was being done 30 years ago. Crap - the classic Bridgemen lines of the late 1970's - early 1980's don't compare. Keep in mind... that is like comparing Buddy Rich to Dave Weckl! Different times.... Anyway, whoever that guy is, he is a stud!
