Ha ha didn't anyone else find it funny that little Edward was groaning in bed on the verge of death and then pops up in a rage not a trace of illness? Made me laugh
@astrea79 You can't blame Edward, lame his tutors, they brought him up as a fervent protestant, basically, he thought, everything catholic was wrong, like his tutors had taught him. So, he signed off Mary to prevent Catholisism from returning to England and returning them to "The False Faith" and he was forced to sign away Elizabeth, because they said that he had to keep both of them, or none of them. So, with Elizabeth, he had no choice
Truth be told that seems to be the acting style of the day-many of these performers were stage actors just getting into the swing of the new technology-films-and melodramatic they often were in those early films. :)

thanks for posting. I just finished Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir. Excellent book on Jane Grey's tragic life. Check it out!

Edward in this movie so obnoxious. He was probably just fine signing his half sisters' inheritance away to keep Mary away from the throne.

Thank you for everything you've uploaded - thoroughly enjoying myself (although getting no work done at all...).

The child who plays Edward is quite good, though slightly melodramatic =P
