Maybe your fear of the long-limbed creature is a deep rooted fear of losing your masculinity. Perhaps the elongated appendages remind you of the castratos of the 17th century, who's limbs and ribcages were enlarged due to the lack of testosterone which would have hardened their joints. just did some searching and the first letter of each chapter name spells nicole is dead...that would explain why when u saw her earlier she wasnt bothered by the necromorphs attacking...though why doesnt he have such strong hallucinations at other times, or hallucinations period? (that means that the door she was unlocking for him was already unlocked....he was having reality changing hallucnations so strong that all senses not just the usual sound and more commonly sight...)

My god, these people are stupid. Isaac is the only one with a helmet, he's the one doing all the work and then someone just snaps and fucks up all the hard work.
