This guy is the best example I know of that one does not need a lot of brains to gain wealth. What it really takes is cunning, avarice, lack of conscience, greed and the ability to exploit a situation and/or people! As for President, it shows how vacuous the Republican Party has become. They offer up their best, and it turns out to be either Sarah Palin or Donald Trump, the kids who in High School couldn’t point to a map and show you where South America is.
just saw a trump interview, the man is a moron, and surprise he leads the polls for the GOP! omg is this country getting stupider by the day? if that man becomes president I am leaving the country before the shit hits the fan

She has to go look at the Trump Network AFTER posting this video? The Billion dollars isn't what you earn it is what the company will be making and the amounts next to the products are the amounts the industry makes per year.
Do you even know what a pyramid scheme is? THEY ARE ILLEGAL!
The Trump Network would never have happened, do you think his attorneys would have approved an ILLEGAL operation. you make yourself look unintelligent when you have to go home and research what you just posted.
"Donald Trump is an idiot, and I'm mentioning this although it probably has nothing to do with Donald Trump." Am I the only person that finds this statement completely ridiculous?
Ha! What's great is that you don't even know about the company or if he is involved! Geee, who's the Billionaire and who's he waitress. Honey, we don't want your nasty ass. Don't quit your day job.

It sounds like something you have to put a lot of time into. Hey nothing so big comes so easy? If you invest that money you have to probably find other people to recruit to make money, sounds like Amway or something along those lines.
Donald Trump has BILLIONS because he knows what he's doing! Anybody who doesn't have billions of dollars has NO right to knock Donald Trump or ANY legitimate business that he has.
Right up there with Amyway International and Scientology, scam networks where the top 1% are the only ones making any real money!

Like the cliché states "There's a sucker born every minute"!
you know nothing about network marketing. Trump started this up because of the success of other network marketing companies, and with the amount of baby boomers this will probably get huge. These products are great (customizable nutrition!) and a test that analyzes what you body needs in terms of vitamins minerals and antioxidants.
Well I will not say he is an idiot but I do agree with you that this takes advantage of the ignorant and mis-informed. See my video response entitled THE TRUMP NETWORK, SCAM OR LEGIT??
Listen idiot. In regards to "HUGE pyramid scheme," do yourself a favor and look up the definition of a pyramid scheme before you talk crap and make yourself look like a brainless piece of shit.
My local pharmacist sells magnetic blanket underlays and magnetic health bracelets. Private health insurance companies cover people for acupuncture and similar quackery. The world is full of so much bullshit. Alternative medicine is such a scam.
I agree with MultiSteveB. Trump is no idiot. With 70 million dumbed down Americans entering retirement years dealing with the health consequences of environmental and consumer product toxins (not to mention drug, tobacco, and alcohol abuse), and rapid depreciation of the U.S. Dollar due to the Federal Reserve's largesse, I can easily see the health & wellness snake oil industry growing to a trillion dollars, and Trump's MLM scheme growing a billion dollar company in an environment of inflation.
Reminds me of many (just about all, really) MLMs - Multi-Level Marketing schemes. While not technically a scam or illegal, they often make claims about their products that aren't backed up by true science or research.
I don't think Donald Trump is an idiot. If this is in fact his scam,he has found a cheap way to bilk the desperate and weak minded (in fairness some people are just way too optimistic). He may have a god complex and feel he has earned the right to manipulate and exploit lesser people, like so many corporatists. But sadly he's not an idiot(wish he was),just because you're intelligent enough to know when you're being conned. Thousands may toss that pamphlet, but thousands will be taken for a ride
I have seen allot of family/friends fall for pyramid schemes at some point in their life but thankfully nobody fell for it enough that they got seriously burned just a few dollars less than they started and a lesson learned.
But yea if Trump really is involved in this than he is an idiot.
To make sure ddpl365 doesn't further embarrass herself, I'll type this real slow... go to dubya dubya dubya daught trumpnetwork daught com and watch the video (you can just click on the link so kindly provided by healthyaddict in the description box). After watching Trump make his pitch, contemplate this question: how long would that site remain online if Trump wasn't behind it? There, don't you feel better knowing that Trump is a complete scumbag?
you know, I tried going to that link you told me to go to but apparently dubya dubya dubya daught trumpnetwork daught com is a really real website. Not to mention the fact that spelling is atrocious... could you please re-write the address for me oh erudite
you know what. After at that page (doubble-ewe NOT dubbya by the way) I still could not believe that Trump would stoop so low. I figured it had to be a sham, but after a little more digging I have to admit- you were right, I was wrong, I apologize for my initial believe that Mr. Trump would have more self respect than to associate himself with such a ridiculous marketing scam.
Dissing Trump for taking advantage of those who are ignorant or misinformed? Are you kidding me? Everything he has done in his entire life has been based on this MO.
On any given day of the week, in any city of significant size, you will find hundreds of similar scams. The number of people praying on people's desire for wealth is astoundingly huge.
Are you kidding? Americans are dumbasses and people market that shit because enough americans are dumbass enough to fall into that shit. You should see the shit we go through at tOSU in the exercise physiology classes. All these get well scams and whatever else. They are WAY worse than that shit. How sad right?
Yeah, I am familiar with pyramid schemes like this one. Amway was one of the biggest pyramid schemes of this kind. What I find interesting is that many of the people who get suckered into these schemes are also religious. Coincidence? I don't think so. Credulity in one sphere of life, naturally extends to other areas.
hmm, after learning a little bit about business and marketing, that flyer seems to be designed to do one thing: sucker people in. no sources, no "scientific background required", no hard information at all, just empty words and useless, un-proven products. I will have to bring this up in my marketing class when we talk about ethics.
"i have a feeling this isn't endorsed by trump. he wouldn't sink that low"
I can't believe that some people think Trump is above this kind of thing. The guy is 100% purebred, low-life scum. He is a preditor plain and simple. Always has been, always will be.
(DickyHertz) you sir, are an idiot. I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Trump, as scummy as he may be, has nothing to do with this pyramid scheme. The people behind it are simply using his name to lure in some poor suckers who would fall for an obvious trap. Some people did it a few years back with Dr. Phil too. Donald doesn't HAVE to stoop to these schemes to make money. He owns the real estate business and hotels.
"I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Trump, as scummy as he may be, has nothing to do with this pyramid scheme"
I'm not quite sure how I should feel about having a moron (ddpl365) call me an idiot. While you may not have a doubt in your mind (it's probably too cluttered with misinformation), that doesn't change the fact that Trump is 100 percent behind this marketing scheme. Or do you think the video with him making the pitch is a CGI? Idiot.
LOL, I smell a lawsuit. Trust me, I've seen scams in places I didn't expect. Years ago I put my resume on Monster because I thought it would be a good site but far from it. The site is littered with scams.
Ugh, Donald Trump! That guy looks like he's just eaten a mouthful of lemon peel, all the time! He's the last person I would want to sit beside on transport... I'd choose Mugabe or Hitler or even Dubya over him!
Is he involved in the pyramid scheme? He's shrewd enough and probably unprincipled enough, but he ought to know that pyramid schemes are illegal. Who gives a crap anyway!
Unfortunately, everybody has to be fooled at least once in their lifetime to learn how not to get involved with bullshit. Con artists rely on those who haven't learned yet. The naïve will always be preyed upon.
So be smart.
Step one: don't get involved with a money exchange unless you initiated it. Steps two, three, and four: research, research, research.
Most likely, they just paid off Trump so they can use his name to sell their woo. Not that I think he's above doing something like this.
Might not be a pyramid scheme, but probably just as deceitful. They'll sell you a whole bunch of worthless crap with the "promise" that you can turn around and sell it for a huge markup. While it's not a Amway type pyramid, it will cause you to lose all your friends when you try to dump this shit on them.
In Poland there was a pyramid scheme endorsed by Trump. However, not "health" related. It had something to do with telecommunication. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump turned out to be the next Madoff.
I saw some one get sucked into some online line grocery network about 13 years ago. it was supossed to be the way of the future. They showed people in yachts and giant motor homes. HAHAHA he got trumped
Apparently the person who lived in my apartment before me was in some kind of crazy sect of christianity, so I get all these batshit crazy newsletters and pamphlets regarding endtimes, praying rather than seeking medical help, evil dragon spirits, etc... really just bizarre stuff.
Several years ago, I got suckered into attending an AMWAY meeting. I wasn't told the meeting was to be about AMWAY prior to attending, for obvious reasons, I'm sure. The speaker looked like he was on an amphetamine - overly excited and fake - and shortly into the gathering is when he mentioned the acronym. I was pissed off at the [expletive deleted] wing-nut who suckered me. But, I figured I'd take the opportunity to stay and watch.
otherether - AMWAY's approach is clearly the same in every country. Someone I knew pleaded with me to come to a meeting that would be highly beneficial to me, but he wouldn't say any more. At the meeting I was just waiting for AMWAY to turn up, as it did 3/4 the way through the talk. The friend who got me to go didn't become the millionaire he expected to be - he just lost all his friends who were trying to avoid him because he was constantly trying to sell them the junk.
For a so-defended legitimate business, AMWAY indeed has its minions use underhanded tactics. (There is no way I'll not see it a second time.) After I accepted I had been suckered, I watched the whole thing. At the end, they had mostly couples get up on stage and preach the gospel of the incredible time they had having attended some massive conference (I forget where). One couple after another. That is when it seemed the most cult-like. Spooky.
Reminds me of a compny called Vector that I heard about in college "Earn up to $38/hr" or something like that. Went to their information session and heard about all these great opportunities and potential for growth, and how they're nationally recognized as a leader, and so on. Then they just kind of slide in the fact that your job will be a door-to-door knife salesman. That's when I got up and left, but most people still seemed dazzled by the hype.
Wow, I'm actually surprised that Trump appears to actually be behind this! Guess he has no shame. I suppose that shouldn't have been a surprise. I also love how all of the stuff being sold has absolutely no evidence behind them actually doing what they purport to do!
The "No scientific background required" part was added because they are expecting that their sales pitch will only work on those with zero scientific background. Those people with zero scientific background most likely will assume that they will fail at this because they fail at everything else they do. Adding that statement was very smart marketing.
Mood enhancement beverages? Water with sugar anyone? Plus something to give it some color and an exotic/weird taste? Great way to kill yourself slowly.
Unless it's THC based enhancment. Than can I get some? ;P
He's trying to take advantage of a retail market that is expanding. The "health food" industry relies on ignorance, and many products are overprices 3-4X return on investment. It's a real ripoff. It thrives in a culture that is scientifically illiterate.
They take low cost ingredients, cheap exotic surplus commodities, heat up a marketing frenzy, and sell to the US public under the banner of "healthy." Chocolate. Acai. Mangosteen. Noni. All cheap, easy to grow, & surplus. No coincidence there.
Trump is an ass... I'm sure that when it comes to business, the guy's pretty bright. But he and I would have almost nothing in common when it comes to values.
Yes, this stuff looks like Herbalife or one of those other similar pyramid schemes.
both of those jobs are crap jobs.. come on coooffee shop and retail // THINK // those give crap pay rates and if you have a bs degree u should be making more than that at one job, though it is cool to have variety, and its cool not to be a corporate sluf of 40 hours or more to one company .. find alternatives and free your slavery ... THINK ***
Trump is such a money whore it would not surprise me if he was involved. A couple of years ago I got an invitation to a seminar that was hosted by Donald Trump, I am not sure if it was for this. It was a big sales seminar in Dallas even though he was not a speaker.
Wow, I knew Trump was a piece of crap, but this.... this seem unusually low. Can we say Amway clone wannabe? Way to lose any remaining shred of legitimacy you may have had left, fucko.
This was so enjoyable..... I ordered 50 boxes of those pills....I like the strawberry ones.....oooh and this blue one mmmm....Your hair is pretty........ I cant feel my legs.....
Perhaps it makes me a bad person, but I totally think it's justifiable to take advantage of the ignorant. After all, their ignorance is their own fault (by definition).
I have to question King Trump's sanity. Anyone that wears small woodland animals on his head and thinks it fools anybody into thinking he has hair HAS to be nuts!
Look a little closer, they set people up on autoship and there are monthly service fees. The custom viatmins alone are 60 bucks a month. They going to have people buying things they didn't even realize they ordered.
I can believe its real, and I can believe there are still people stupid enough to believe these grandiose claims. Protip: No one ever makes a million, and very few if any actually pay their bills from selling this bullshit.
From what I see I think its something like Amway. People have to sell or buy from them some products every month to get points. Also they can recruit new members under them, and get some of there profet. They make false hopes for people that they can become millionars after some years. But only later if people have already left the main job to concentrate on that they will understand thats all is not that easy there.
Aldo some can be successful for most people its painful experience.
I know it seems sketchy, but it's actually completely legitimate. I myself am involved with the trump network, and have made vast sums of money from it using my own personal style of operation. If you want to learn what my unique and innovative technique is, just send me $40 for a brochure on it and you'll be a billionaire in no time.
Donald Trump is primarily a real estate/resort/casino guy. As I understand it, those markets have been severely hurt in this financial down turn.
This may be motivating Trump to try his hand at something else before he once again starts entering into a bankruptcy spiral. Hence the infomercial product nonsense.
(I think technically this is sounding more like multi-level marketing to me than a pure pyramid scheme, but there's not much real difference.)
from looking at the site it seems trump is really involved with it. the products they are pushing are fishy at best and remind of those pseudo science health cures on late night tv. like coral calcium cures everything. although i could see this making money but probably only for the top people. the market for such things seems to be high these days. i wonder if he has an homepathetic products.
Powerful people make alot of money by exploiting the numbers. Get enough and make enough. He is anything but an idiot, but it turns out, nethier are you! :)
Trump's a fraud. His father gave him $60 million to start his empire when he graduated college. Everything he touches goes to shit. He's been bankrupt or his businesses have been several times. His family has bailed him out time and time again. He must really be low on cash to sell his name for this kind of crap.
You are terminally cute.

Tophet7 2 years ago
Reminds me of many (just about all, really) MLMs - Multi-Level Marketing schemes. While not technically a scam or illegal, they often make claims about their products that aren't backed up by true science or research.
But IMO:

DickyHertz 2 years ago
you know, I tried going to that link you told me to go to but apparently dubya dubya dubya daught trumpnetwork daught com is a really real website.

DickyHertz 2 years ago
(DickyHertz) you sir, are an idiot. I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Trump, as scummy as he may be, has nothing to do with this pyramid scheme. The people behind it are simply using his name to lure in some poor suckers who would fall for an obvious trap. Some people did it a few years back with Dr. Phil too. Donald doesn't HAVE to stoop to these schemes to make money. He owns the real estate business and hotels.
ddpl365 2 years ago
"I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Trump, as scummy as he may be, has nothing to do with this pyramid scheme"
I'm not quite sure how I should feel about having a moron (ddpl365) call me an idiot. While you may not have a doubt in your mind (it's probably too cluttered with misinformation), that doesn't change the fact that Trump is 100 percent behind this marketing scheme. Or do you think the video with him making the pitch is a CGI? Idiot.

DarkMatter2525 2 years ago
Most likely, they just paid off Trump so they can use his name to sell their woo. Not that I think he's above doing something like this.
Might not be a pyramid scheme, but probably just as deceitful. They'll sell you a whole bunch of worthless crap with the "promise" that you can turn around and sell it for a huge markup. While it's not a Amway type pyramid, it will cause you to lose all your friends when you try to dump this shit on them.

the funny thing about those kinds of scams is that the average person is stupid enough to buy into it.
you can look at it, and laugh, but people actually believe that stupid shit!
the person that started it could make alot of money from it because of the average persons ignorance.
if i were a peice of shit that wanted to exploit people's stupidity i might consider trying something like that.
the funny thing isn't how stupid the scam is...it's that people believe it.

Capsule review: AMWAY is a cult. Beware.
otherether 2 years ago
otherether - AMWAY's approach is clearly the same in every country.
CrankCase08 2 years ago
For a so-defended legitimate business, AMWAY indeed has its minions use underhanded tactics. (There is no way I'll not see it a second time.) After I accepted I had been suckered, I watched the whole thing. At the end, they had mostly couples get up on stage and preach the gospel of the incredible time they had having attended some massive conference (I forget where). One couple after another. That is when it seemed the most cult-like. Spooky.
Thanks for the comment, CrankCase08. Cheers.

Zaunstar 2 years ago
The "No scientific background required" part was added because they are expecting that their sales pitch will only work on those with zero scientific background. Those people with zero scientific background most likely will assume that they will fail at this because they fail at everything else they do. Adding that statement was very smart marketing.

No coincidence there.

abortabraham 2 years ago
From what I see I think its something like Amway. People have to sell or buy from them some products every month to get points. Also they can recruit new members under them, and get some of there profet. They make false hopes for people that they can become millionars after some years. But only later if people have already left the main job to concentrate on that they will understand thats all is not that easy there.
Aldo some can be successful for most people its painful experience.

Donald Trump is primarily a real estate/resort/casino guy. As I understand it, those markets have been severely hurt in this financial down turn.
This may be motivating Trump to try his hand at something else before he once again starts entering into a bankruptcy spiral. Hence the infomercial product nonsense.
