I forgot how much I loved this album. It still amazes me that such a poet, a true artist, had a Top 20 single and a recording that scaled the charts "High on Rebellion" after being a cult figure with mixed reviews for the previous (RADIO ETHIOPIA) and rumors that Arista was dropping her. Critics who adored HORSES and panned the second album shook their heads in print over the resurrection of her career that occurred with EASTER, a true artistic rebirth. Thanks.

A friend of mine just bought me Patti's book "Just Kids" and it is just absolutely beautiful. It is so simple, direct and honest. I highly recommend it.
