Great track! this song was for miss minnie but she passed & her husband who produced this album asked teena to sing it. she sang it to death. one of the best singers & not enuff props given to this lady.
Teena has always been my favorite song writer of all time!!!! And this song is the smoothest she composed!!!! Fantastic, been on a Teena Marie trip all day long - just hardly can say how wonderful she is. She's jazzy, she's soulful, she's danceable, her lyrics are great, her songs modulate all over the place, she attracted good musicians to her (although she could play everything)... she's a really great artist who is miles ahead of anyone singing today, with their copy and paste riffs and autotuners. Fabulous music, thanks for popsting.
