  • It seems to me that with Kimi coming back f1 will be a hell of a lot better!

  • Wasn't 2003

  • Montoya was a great passer. also one of the best qualifiers. That one year was back and forth between Montoya and Michael Schumacher. And Ralph couldn't hardly even touch Montoya in qualifying.

  • @zk92000

Actually, Ralf out-qualifyed Montoya MANY times in his career.

  • Great battle good thing we have Lewis Hamilton on the modern day.

  • ICEMAN is BACK!!!!

  • thats why F1 without JPM is some thing just boring

  • Currently we only have Lewis Hamilton on the grid who knows how to race.....come back you two!!

  • @Invincible278 Lewis ? That whining pussy? Ever heard of Alonso?

  • @TheV12ferrari alonso as well as massa are spiteful little dicks...

  • @thep1zzaman QQ

  • It's the 2002 Grand Prix at Hockenhiem. Not 2001 because of old track + Kimi was in a Sauber In 01'. It's not 2003, because Raikkonen crashed out on lap one + Montoya led every lap in 2003 race. It's 2002.

  • why must montoya raikkonen leave f1...and overtaking in f1 now is so damn boring...

  • @feverNpain999 hopefully raikkonen will be back next season with williams :)

  • @IINEZZAII yeah man..read the news..i hope he can get another title..would be epic to see him race against alonso and shumacher like the good old times

  • @feverNpain999

I don't mean this in any disrespect, but unless Williams change the car dramatically next year it won't be competing with Mercedes and definitely not Ferrari, unfortunately.

  • It's year 2002, in 2003 Barrichello crashed into Kimi in the first lap

  • the video ends too quickly!

  • Back in the day!!!

  • no it' s 2003

in 2001 Kimi was driving for Sauber

  • its 2001, not 2003

  • @osmaher

    Its 2003.

2001 driving the F1 in Hockenheim on the Longtrack.

  • Montoya had NO fear, loved watching him race!

  • F1 in the 90 and beginning from 2000 was way better. Nowadays to many Rulechanging shit srsly fucks this sport ! If they don't stop, in a few Years it will be dead.

  • cant have been 03., Juan Pablo won that race by about a minute

  • Good scrap until Montoya pushed Raikkonnen off the track.

  • that williams was a beast

  • It's 2002 not 2003

  • montoya raikkonen schumaher and hamilton have most guts to overtake opponet thats whay they are the best

  • No doubt, Montoya is surely the most naturally talented driver of the last 15 years

  • @mgarofano If that's true, (which I'd dispute) - then ir's only 'cause Stéfan Bellof died. ;)

  • @Christoffski To be honest I see no correlation just considering the average career of drivers. In fact when I consider this period (last 15 years) obviously I mostly mean the period after Ayrton Senna. Without the accident Bellof ,( surely a grest driver )anyway would had 't been among drivers of the last 15 years because very much probably he would had retire before .Anyway it would be great to have a time machine and see drivers like Senna ,Bellof and Montoya running in the same race.

  • @mgarofano It'd be interesting to see if it would have suited him more in those cars.

  • i like how the keep a constant distance for a while ... something like respect

  • probably we could see Montoya vs kimi in a nascar circuit that will be fun next year !

  • hockenheim, ¿no?

  • F1 suck sorry they soon just Quit guys this Year's i hear news WOW ! I Deep LOL LOL LOL hard LOL it F1 suck ha ha ha POOR F1

  • F1 is Boring just Quit's! just Montoya,Raikkonen there to Nascar LOL i told you suck F1 is pussy is boring LMAO HA HA HA HA !!!!

  • it is 2002 ;)

  • ...both in nascar now?...is that where F1 guys go to retire?

  • Nascar f&%$n boring redneck american crap and the best racers around the world shouldn't try that in their prime.

  • u dont see this is f1 nowadays =/...

  • @LifelessFish wtf have you been watching.

  • A clear illustration on the statement that something is SERIOUSLY wrong in F1 - two great guys are now gone from it, running in NASCAR series now. Respect, JPM, you can overtake yourself.

  • Nascar sucks.

  • JPM, loser

  • BMW power.

  • I cannot wait to see Montoya and Kimi settle old scores

  • If this is Hockenheim Then I think this 02 not 03. In 03 there was shunt at the start caused by Ralph Schumacher that collected Kimi. Reguardless though as always with the Kimster...just great driving pure.

  • @bmxf1 its hockenheim only....

  • lol fickt euch da war nigs great montoya lasst nie jemand platz man er is ein arsch genau deswegen wurde er rausgeschmissen 2005

  • Good battle between teammates - no team orders. The way it should be!!

  • @rodentcafeteria at this point , they where no teammates raikkonen drives the mclaren and montoya the williams .

  • @Blutsvente82 Thanks. Still a good battle nonetheless.

  • @rodentcafeteria i´m from germany and i don´t know what nonetheless means , but it was a great battle for sure :-)

  • @Blutsvente82 Hello to you in Germany. Nonetheless is just another way of saying "even so."

  • @rodentcafeteria Thank you . I thought it was something like that , but i was not sure :-)

  • fiuuu.... grande montoya!!!

  • this happen in 2002.

IN 2003 the raikkonen race's finish before turn1.

  • Good duel :)

  • LOVE MONTOYAS RAW AGGRESSION

  • He pushed kimi off the track not fair ....KIMI IS THE BEST FUCKING MEN ON EARTH A LEGEND <3333333333333333333333333 COME BACK KIMI YOU ARE MY HERO !<3 i miss drivers like this who don't give a shit what anyon thinks like kimi and montoya also!

  • Montoya such a great talent !

  • nice overtaking by pushing kimi off the track and closing the door, stupid latino-b!tch

  • Full respect to Kimi for keeping the throttle on round the outside into the stadium section. We need these two drivers back in F1.

  • that was in 2002 not in 2003....

  • Nick Heidfeld and Yamamoto are in F1 & Monty and Kimi are not... WELL DONE FOM!!! ;)

  • @ANDREZ2405 In all honesty, Nick Heidfeld does deserve to be in F1. Yamamoto doesn't. Kimi really enjoys WRC anyway.

  • @jbutton113 Dont like Heidfeld he does not take any risks, his name should be Steady Eddy

  • @MotorsportUK2009 I know what you mean, I do like Kimi and JPM more. JPM was my favourite back when he was in F1.

  • @MotorsportUK2009 Heidfeld did those great double passes in Silverstone 2008, so he does take risks but he still seems to lack the spark of drivers like Raikkonen, Alonso, Schumacher, Kubica or Hamilton.

  • @ohargreaves, i just dont feel hes willing to sometimes do some crazy dive down the inside, but for sure im not saying hes a bad F1 driver, far from it, he has some of the best consistency in F1 but i always felt hes suited to development of the car rather than championship contender, he always gave the team fantastic feed back and they could count on him for solid, but not spectacular results. He deserves a seat at a smaller team he could do wonders for development and hes worth the price tag

  • Montoya was a racer!

  • Kimi and Juan Pablo, the best non-British Mclaren duo.

  • @Arai4lpinestars

no Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost

    were the best

  • @ASennaTheBEst

Senna might have been better than both of them but Prost... Come on, the guy was driving the car as it was on rails... The Professor my ass.

  • @KillerSpede

haha your are right prost is an stupid asshole not a racer. he risked nothing that is´nt racing

  • @Arai4lpinestars Juan Pablo's McLaren days were a disgrace. In his last race, he crashed with Raikkonen.

  • But who is Raikkonen ?

  • @mgarofano A rally driver... LOL

  • This video looks like a formula 1 game ..

  • grande juan pablo q verraquera para meterle el coche a el kimi

  • Was confused why watching it Live when I was 11, and still am now; as to why Raikkonen felt the need to take such an extreme defensive line into the Mercedes-Benz corner. Lost him momentum for the rest of the duel's duration, and gave Montoya perfect opportunities to duck-and-cut around him and seize the initiative.

Never mind though, a fantastic battle all the same.

  • This was 2002.

  • Kimi fans stay far away from this video thats for sure

  • @FRFM00 Why do you think so? That was a classic battle between the two.

  • @FRFM00 Why this was just as impressive to watch when youre a Kimi fan. Remember it takes two to overtake, both drove really well, fought hard but fair.

  • @nzoplkj Get a fucking life you F1 faux fan.

  • @FRFM00 mature

  • @FRFM00 Hahahahaha! indeed it really hurts them eh!!.

  • Montoya one of the best drivers...

    I miss you come back...

  • Good move

  • kimi was only fast when the track was free. he is fast but no overtaker king like juan! i miss him.

  • good overtaking by JPM

  • shouldn't that be 2002

  • I loved to watch this two on track.. Always aggressive, great and fair fights.

    Big respect for each other.

Nothing like vettel vs webber.. noob webber simply dont know when is time to give up. You can always loose a battle but war is still going on...

  • Ferrari should have hired Montoya instead of keeping Massa with hindsight.

  • Ahh! Certain users are brieding from the scar,oh well how enjoyble i found this video clip and with certain irony their "comments".The truth prevails MONTOYEAH.

  • Pablo "Fuckin' Idiot" Montoya.

  • bring them back!

  • Well, lets compare Montoya and Kimi on Montoyas last season on F1.. how did it end up again? oh yeah, Montoya fired for being BAD.

  • Montoya is surely the most talented driver of the last 15 years. He has won everywhere and has been a top driver in every field of motorsport.

It 's even absurd to compare a disaster like Rakkionen with the most natural talented driver of the last 15 years. Montoya obviously simply eat Raikkonen ,it's simply a sort of breakfast like every time they have been wheel to wheel.

  • @mgarofano this is the German Grand Prix 2002 you have to remember that. The Mclaren car was not good and Raikkonen just joined Mclaren that year so he had to adapt to a new team. And the MP4-17 (the car Mclaren used that year) was so unreliable. During this race Raikkonen had some problems already with the rear wing so yes...get your facts right

  • @benjaminhehe Sorry, but honestly the only fact is that Raikkonen under pression did the worse mistake in F! and car races , during the duel he leaves to Montoya what Montoya is hardly looking for ....the inside line ,that's all.

  • @benjaminhehe oh, cmon, like montoya couldn't easily overtake anyone in the F1:)

  • in the last move montoya never gave kimi a car lengths gap :P

  • GP Hockenheim 2002, a big battle

  • Oh the Kimifans gave you 5 thumbs down in anger lol, but I agree with you.

  • Really thanks, you know, in every occasion Montoya and Rakkinen have been wheel to wheel Montoya simply outclassed Rakkinen everytime and therefore.....let's repet the concept FOR A SO NATURAL TALENTED DRIVER LIKE JUAN MONTOYA A " driver " LIKE RAKKINEN IS SIMPLY A SORT OF BREAKFAST.

  • intelligent answer...

  • You make yourself look like an fool... If you think JPM is better and more talented than Kimi, it says you dont know too much about motorsports. Montoya is really average driver, nothing like Kimi. I bet you are stupid yankee and nascar fan?

  • is that why kimi still races and not juan

  • Montoya was brilliant, but he had a hell of an attitude. Shame his talents are wasted in NASCAR.

  • @icetonky its good that he is in NASCAR....had Kimi pushed Montoya like that he would have crashed into Kimi intentionally ....

  • @mgarofano You must be a redneck addicted to NASCAR :-) Montoya was pretty good when he was in F1 but so did Raikkonen!!

  • i dont wanna move to the next video automatically fuck you fuck ur video 1*

  • that's a play list idiot

  • then i dont want playlist stfu cunt

  • Montoya rimane scorretto

  • Montoya was very fair, in the motodrom corner he could move more to the left but he runs over the curb on the inside letting a lot of space to Kimi which in fact nearly could hold the position. it was very close before Sachs corner. excellent battle, nice to watch.

  • is not 2003 !!! it's 2002 !!! kimi crash in the first lap in 2003

  • yeah enjoy this one cause jpm didn't win much in F1. at least he had a chance to steer right as well

  • it's not Hockenheim 2003 - Kimi crashed in first lap in this race...

  • montoya the best!

  • MONTOYA OWNS!!!! RESPECT FROM USA!

  • and Montoya enters ANOTHER LEFT TUURN!!!! Oh my god! Montoya enters another left turn!!

    Nascar sucks.

  • haha thats what i always said. nascar sucks and all the other good racing sports like F1 and WRC are so much better and require much more talent

  • what turn do you think will come next???

  • @Rethgore Explain Watkins Glen, Infineon, Montreal, Mexico City, Road America, and the late Riverside Raceway then.

  • @MattA1GP I guess that was to hard for Regore to explain,so far no reply!!.

  • @MattA1GP true, true... i miss Montoya in f1... he was the most interesting to watch driver and imo the only driver who wasnt afraid to pressure schumi.

  • @Rethgore

Nascar is for bill bob and his wife gertha...known as his sister as well

  • @Rethgore Yes, it'st more fascinating to observe time gaps between drivers rather than watch them constantly battle in a pack. It's also definitely more exciting to watch drivers stuck one after another until pitstops, rather than watch them battle 3-wide on an oval.

But it's best to enjoy all kind of racing and better yet - to understand all kind of racing. Why can't you?

  • @Rethgore Too bad Montoya sucks too much to win in NASCAR. 2 career wins in 4 years, 36 races a season.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rethgore it makes for good racing for the last five laps, thats it unfortunately, f1 has so many variables thats what makes it so great

  • This was 2002

  • Lol at those who gave you thumbs down!!! montoya made 4 awesome moves, kimi bumped him again and again, until he just give up.

  • That is class, Montoya is kicking ass in NASCAR, respect from CANADA

  • great Montoya. He could overtake everybody, always.Respect from POLAND !

  • @metalbyku Kubica too ;)

  • JPM come back plzzzz!!!!!

please come back to next f1!!!

  • he will never be back in F1 ... i miss him for such a action ... or how he kicked Michael in Brazil 2001 ... he prove that YOU CAN orvertake with F1 car and you dont have to "modfie" them or something like that

  • Montoya thinking damn im not gonna overtake this guy fair he is just too good... hmm i think i just push him on the grass lets see if i can take him this way

by the way im not a JPM hater but this guy made things... haha i should hate him :D

  • Kimi barely let him back on the track when jpm went to pass and montoyas move is clean. he took away the line so kimi couldn't re pass him next corner. It's fair it's racing.

  • Shut up.. you don't know racing.. the move was clean..

  • are you blind?

  • Hockenhiem 2002 !

  • montoya and raikkönen are great drivers

and this is one of the greatest fights xD

  • montoya may be a goood driver but hes proberly one of the most hot headed driverd as well being stupid considing he went to nas car which is proberly the dullist sports and eastist on the drivers in the world i mean you get 50 year old drivers in nas car well montoya couldn't win f1 so he had go to nas car the retarded red deck cousin of all motor sport what a waste of talent

  • Montoya´s Sunday ShowTime

    he´s the man

if he was english he would have beent there in F1 winning titles

but what the fuck? how could F1 world let a colombian overtaking everybody?

    shit on F1.

  • Räikkönen´s mind at 0:38: " Damn!! This guy is pushing me out of the track!! What an idiot, I´ll destroy his career..."

  • all you the prostitute's mother that gave birth to them dead children are they don't know anything about f1 montoya he/she is a great pilot who went layers of challenging to chumi the montoya you are the best dog children they don't know anything

  • kimi might be a good driverbut hes and idiot,he is like a living DEAD BODY,

  • BMW engine was unstoppable at that times...

  • yeah yeah, just how could raikkonen than become a world champion while massa and montoya never did... smart ass

  • lol calm down dude ! ur a hamilton fan right ? all hamilton's fans hate raikkonen

  • All Raikkonen fans think Raikks the best driver in the world ever. You're all delusional.

  • actually iam a huge raikkonen fan but i don think hes the best driver in the world. but i really think he is a very very fast driver when u give him the right car and team just like in 2007.

  • Nope, I don`t think so. But I still like Kimi, as a driver.

  • "Everytime they fought on track Montoya wins" ah...Typical from Montoya´s fans: inventing stats. Seems like somebody can´t remember Hungary 2002, Hungary´s 2005 first lap, USA 2003... Puaf, I can´t understand why someone who hasn´t watched races dares to talk about the subject. It is embarrassing to read some comments...

  • yes, Montoya gave fun to these races!!

  • Anyway.

Montoya beat Raikkonen so well here that its one of the most popular F1 videos on youtube.

    Deal with it.

  • Well, if you consider that a "popular video on youtube" means a successful career, you don´t deserve much attention. You should watch actual races from early 2000´s, and you wouldn´t write that funny stuff. Stop moaning about 10 years ago failures, which you haven´t even pay attention to.

  • I will not consider anything. It was not funny either. I am not moaning.

This is great footage. The kind of racing you moan for.

    Deal with it.
