Very disappointing video considering Mikes history. No mention of triple extension or hip displacement. The focus is....the catch? Completely disagree. If a lifter cant execute the move effectively, there is no point in programming the lift in the first place. Granted, safety is always first(saving the wrists etc), but was seriously expecting a better explanation this ...jump and look athletic.
@Glennerd60 One has to consider why they are performing the exercise this way. I personally do not see a reason to perform a lift in the Olympic style unless you are training to compete in that particular lift. If the goal is to be a more explosive athlete and to utilize total body explosiveness to reinforce a pattern of movement, then this style will apply. I think too many people spend way too much time trying to perfect form when safe, effective form is all that is needed.

Im not overly confident in this lift so ive been doing double kettlebell cleans instead. Is that an ok substitute?
