@Quierotooo the video is imported from an old VHS copy of the film, so the image quality is not the greatest. That's also why it's not in widescreen.

@RedSku11 I used the 2000 VHS rerelease of the OT, which included the Special Edition changes, to make this trailer. By the time I uploaded the video onto YouTube, in 2008, those VHS tapes sure seemed "old" to me.

I actually feel that was the most effective part mainly because the Stormtroopers flanking Luke in that shot looked very similar to the Stormtroopers who always seemed to flank Darth Vader in the promotional imagery for ANH. Kind of like Luke was now in command of the Imperial troops.

One other observation: No Han Solo is seen, which would have slyly misled viewers to believe he doesn't come back to animated life. Or does he? Of course, that's the surprise when they actually see the movie.

I'm a big fan of well-made trailers.

@KinkadeJohn - I'm kind of surprised that you are the first to comment on the lack of Han Solo in the trailer. It definitely was a conscious choice on my part to leave him out, because I thought it would add to the dramatic intensity and darkness of the trailer if it looked like Han Solo didn't survive the carbonite.

I agree with others about the Revenge logo being the one thing that's missing. Even so, an excellent trailer that would have had me crapping my 15 year-old pants if it had come out before the movie in 1983.

@KinkadeJohn - That's one of those things that I didn't think about until after the trailer was completed. In retrospect, it would have been a pretty cool idea; but I'm not sure if my college professor would have understood why I changed the title of the movie. Thanks for the feedback!

@RealGateGuardian - the song is right off of the Return of the Jedi soundtrack (the complete, sequential version released in 1997). It's a segment from "The Battle for Endor III" off of that CD.
