What I am wondering, especially knowing you maxxed the old living flame with that, why not do a quick moonstrike for extra life?

I'm just starting a sorc like this, with Moonstrike, Warp Armor and Snow Queen maxxed as a defensive variante, we shall see how that tourns out.

Apparently it's called Tempest now. Except in the Synergy tooltip it still says "Lightning Cascade recieves bonuses from..."

Then I have a question about your graphic settings, because when I recorded by fraps, my video is not smooth like yours, I think you have the way to make fps of D2 higher than default (25fps), so can you tell me your settings ? I talk about glideinit settings if you use it...and thank you :)

@TerraVN if game is laggy, you can set option "no synch" in fraps, that skips lagged frames, and make video look smoother, but also sped up a bit (depending on how badly it lagged).

@TerraVN there are also other things, like motion blur after capturing the video, you can add it as effect, in either virtual dub as filter, or in your video editor software (after effects, vegas ect.).

Another one can be frame blending effect, which is also feature of video editing software.

@auksan it seems that you are confusing mana with energy

it is very easy to hit 3,5k ene, even without +% energy runes/gems since you have there about 1100 flat points, tons of points from items and ubercharms and then +% stats on top of it

mana value is enhanced by wiccaning in the other hand, and hitting 30k is no problem at all

gear used by that is decent, but could be even better

What about trying a flamefront/flamestrike sorceress capable of doing Duncraig? Or melee one? I tried to do Duncraig with my fire sorc but I haven't got good EQ. Yet.

@AdamusOne much harder because these skills are just worse than stf. They are slower, flamestrike takes like 2 seconds to drop, you are already dead after teleport, flamefront maybe, but not as good, it is generally worse as killer of larger packs,you need to spam it, while one or two stf kills everything.. Stf hits huge area with pierce, dealing instantly very high damage. Second combo after stf, was another cold skill from charm - abyss.

@TheDilonz no umos, you can get -100 res easily with cheap MO, and there is no other useful caster umo to really use

no sync (fraps option) means that video is faster than real game because recorder skips lagged frames, duncraig video is real time (also then game sound is matches the video), but other clips are with "no sync" option, so they are stlightly faster because of that (you can see that character moves bit faster)
