Those drums don't do him justice. In fairness they are shit and should of stayed with Pearl, he could have asked for a Reference kit and nothing else would have touched it. Those toms/floor toms sound awful, if you play with floor toms as toms then it needs to be spot on and these arnt

Love Vinnie, but i would have stuck with Pearl, that gave him the brutal Pantera sound i always loved. I've played my whole life and these are just to cheapish, and have no good clean tones. I noticed metal drummers Dave Lombardo, Richard Christy, Brian Tichy (rock), Shawn Drover and Scott Rockenfield (Queensryche) switched over too. No idea why. Especially when Tichy was using DW!!

@DopeDethrone Yea I think that the rack toms are actually 15" deep. The kicks are 24 x 24, which is complete shit. The only think that is even close to decent is the snare, which is 14 x 8, but that size doesn't complement his playing very well. Of course, he just does it for the promotion and looks of it. I've actually heard that he triggers all of the drums live because they sounds so bad.

I'd rather listen to these groovy beats over any of the fastest double bass beats ever any day. Then again, musicians these days can't write music as good as Pantera did.
