Lana was there for way too long. I have nothing against the actress but character wise, the writers gave Lana's story lines a lot more respect than they gave to Lois' who is supposed to be the main love of Clark's life. Lana had real story lines going on while Lois's story lines just mainly consisted of her getting kidnapped in almost every episode. Clark and Lana didn't even really breakup they just couldn't physically be together. It made Lois seem 2nd best.

@Str8talk50I wasn't really a fan of this Lois version but giving Lana too much importants was a big slap to us Superman fans who feel that they didn't do a good job at staying true to at least THAT part of the mythology. I understand that the show wanted to be original and not be a copycat of other Superman stuff but somethings like Lois' and Clark's epic love story shouldn't be changed. They made it seem like "well since I can't be with Lana I guess I'll be with u " bad writing!

@Kay2be2M Lana was his first like Gwen was spiderman's first then Mary-Jane,Smallville gave a more realistic viewpoint of superman,the ''epic love story'' would have been more epic if Lois was his 1 and only love but she was his second

@Str8talk50 It doesn't matter who came first, what matters is who was supposed to be the main love interest. When people think spiderman they think MaryJane, when people think Superman they think Lois Lane.My point is that Lana was just supposed to be a highschool girlfriend and Lois was supposed to be so much more, but Smallville messed with people's heads when it came to that. I don't blame u for preffering Lana, I blame Smallville for making u and many others preffer Lana.

@Kay2be2M why blame Smallville they did exactly what you wanted ''when people think Superman they think Lois Lane'' and that is exactly what Smallville did,Clark became superman in the final episode and he was with Lois at that point and just like you put it when people think Smallville they think Lana Lang it's that simple,the best seasons and episodes are the ones with Lana as it should be in Smallville

@Str8talk50 Yes u do have a point, cause it was supposed to be just about Smallville and not Metropolis, so the main female focus should have been Lana, u are right about that. But because they chose to start the whole Metropolis/Daily planet/Lois lane story lines, the transition from Smallville to Metropolis and from Lana to Lois was just not done well. I would have stuck to just smallville stories and ended the show with an intro to his new life in Metropolis and meeting Lois.

Lana lang reminds me alot of Marvel Elektra, in the sense that she been through alot in her life, and all though events have made her a better person , even the fact that she still has feeling for a person but leaves and does her own think, depict still having feeling for him

This is honestly the best ending to music that Smallville has ever done. The clips set up exactly what is going to happen in the season and the music reflects the mood perfectly. Plus, although the tenth season is still amazing and very exciting, there is something nostalgic about this episode, since it seems like it happened so long ago. One day, I'll rewatch the entire series once it's done.

I like the part when Kara is on the water tower, just goes to show that moving to another place and adjusting is one of the hardest things anyone could do...and u could be surrounded by people and still feel very alone. But we have no choice but to face it and be strong and soar! :)

Laura Vandervoort is so beautiful! I'm glad she'll be back for the final season. The last season had some decent episodes, but overall season 9 was the worst IMO. Hope they get it right in season 10.

Chloe and Clark will always be the true stars in the show.

I didn't really like lana after a few seasons she just got annoying, she did great acting but the writers really made her annoying so it's not her fault.

Lois is awesome too, but if chloe ever died or someting like that the show would die with her because she definately has our hearts :).

I don't understand how anyone can hate Kristen's acting or Lana Lang. Kristen has allowed Lana to transform from the girl next door to a very strong and calculating woman. The way she talks, the way she carries herself, her facial expressions --we can all thank Kristen for expressing Lana's extreme transformation. And Lang is such an amazing female character. It broke my heart when she hurt Clark, and that sucked, but she trained herself and became a superhero at the end... come on people.
