@IS91Videos Learn the mechanics of the move, drill any prerequisite moves you can think of, go somewhere you feel safe, then start throwing stuff. I already had a good gainer/cheat gainer and butterfly twist. You can think of this move as a combination of those two tricks.
What sucks is that I injured my toe during that session and still haven't fully recovered, so I haven't been able to safely practice this move since then.
@phyzxman Dude! Thank you for the super quick reply. The thing is, this move looks really flashy. I don't know how to do the B-twist, Back flip or anything flashy. Looks like this move and the "Kick the moon" will be my first move to learn. I think that I've gotten over it but I know when I try it, I wouldnt be able to pull it off. I just need a lot of help with the landing, that's my weakness, the landing part. How do you land? And by the way, great video! And I'm Subscribing!
@IS91Videos Thanks for the subscription, hopefully I'll be able to add stuff soon. To be honest, the landing is the part I need to work on myself, as you can see in the video. I don't really know how to help with that. I had the same problem when learning butterfly twists, and I learned how to land it by trying it repeatedly until I landed it. No fancy strategy, just keep trying!
@phyzxman Thanks for replying! It seems like every move you learn, it's hard to land. Backflip, Frontflip, Gainer ect. I don't know how to do ANY of these, only the front hand spring and just about a frontflip. Why is it that the landing is so difficult to do? I was going to attempt at a B-twist as it looks really flashy and cool.
@IS91Videos I'm no expert but I think it is just a matter of learning what it feels like to be upsidedown/twisting/horizontal or whatever. Once you have a good sense of where your body is in the air, learning to land is a lot easier. That's why even though I crashed all night, I was happy because I was becoming more comfortable with the flip & spin combination.
@phyzxman Wow! Great information! Thanks! That makes a whole lot more sense. I may need to get some mats similar to yours and get started. The landing seems so soft and painless. Thank you for your help!
How did you get rid of that fear? Please reply..
