A great character, sure, but likeable? She doesn't have much personality, makes a fair share of mistakes and questionable decisions, and is dangerously indecisive and inept at times...Plenty of anime nerds are a lot more enjoyable

i really fell in love with this anime but it reminds a lot about the movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Except that the League of Extraordinary Gentleman is about legendary literary figures combating evil while this is about using books as a means to rewrite history and control the world.

And that movie sucked. Read the comic book instead.

I've read nearly every book that LXG was based on, and I still couldn't stomach the comic. By contrast, I did somewhat enjoy the movie, though it was largely just another action movie with names, faces, and powers, I found almost every moment of it cheered me up and made me believe in heroes. Not so with the comics.
