  • Hey,whats name of militarty march? I loved it,guy talks much and interrupts it..

  • Русија, Белорусија, Украјина, Србија

    Браћа !!!

  • Very nice parade. It's a shame though they talked so much and disturbed the music.

  • RED for EVER!

  • It's supposed to be "National day" but it's full of red flags with stars hammers and sickles. Looks very Soviet for me.

  • Its essentially the day when the Soviets liberated Belarus from German occupation, hence the banners of hammers and sickles, banners of the Red Army.

If you look at Russia's VG Day parades, their victory banner is essentially a Soviet flag.

  • I have a great respect for the Reverence that is given to the Soviet Soldier who fought and died for Belarus and Russia from WW2, before I was born.

That is how I feel about Americans, Canadians, British who fought for my France-

let is not ever forget those who gave for us--

Whomever they are; whomever they be.

PS: I am a Capitalist, but I love Belarus-

    Great Country; Great People-

    I love Belarus!

  • Very nice comments!

As an American I appreciate them. We are also grateful for the people of France.

PS. I'm also a Capitalist and loving it! LOL

  • Thanks, God Bless all Free Countries of the World--and we have to fight for freedoms. I hope one day Belarus will truly be free-

  • merci beacoup! vive l'belarus!

  • @poitrenaud Soviets don't fight for freedom of other countries......

And Poland lost a lot fighting for your France too.

  • Yes; My friend--That is a big difference-

The "Soviets" don't fight for the freedoms of anyone, Including themselves.

They only fought the Germans to defend their homeland.

    Not for freedom.

And, I thank you, and will always hold the Polish people in high esteem.

My wife is Belarusian, anti-communist, and is not sure about their present situation. But Belarus seems to be a kind, quiet and nice nation.

Is it truly still a totalitarian nation?

When I am there, I don't feel it.

  • @poitrenaud Well they have been opressing the Polish minority in Belarus for a while. And the Belarusian government appears to support communism.

  • what is the name of the first march?...does anybody have it?

  • lol at 4:19. Look at that guy on the right. He kept his percision, and had no mistakes in his march, despite the flag blocking his view. I salute you, whoever you are!

  • I can't wait 2009 independence day.

    2009 is 65th anniversity.

    Military parade will large scale.

    Tank,Aircraft etc...

    I can't wait!

  • if this was in Belarusian not a foreign language (russian) I would be proud of this. It does look mighty to me!

  • It's not a foreign language!

  • It is, kazpmk. Russian is a great language and undoubtedly more powerful than Belarusian but it is foreign in Belarus if you look at this historically. It was brought to Belarus by force ~220 years ago after Russia got the western part of Rzeczpospolita (which is effectively Belarus). Since then it has ousted Belarusian from almost every niche and became a state language. I still think it's wrong to hold a patriotic parade like this in a foreign language. The parade is mighty though.

  • it's because the belarrusian language is nearly extinction, not many belarussians speak belarrusian today.

  • agreed, and thats hurtful, thats fundamentally wrong, it shouldnt be like this and Lukashenko must understand this and revive the language... Belarus shouldnt be a Russian colony and Lukashenko must do something about it

  • @grindingcrustmince belarus cannot survive without russian help (oil and gas for only 30% of the world price)

  • Belarus Speaks russian...

  • What is the title of the first march?

  • Does anybody has 1st march.

  • I understand that the soldiers are carrying the First, Second and Third Standards of the Belarussian Front. What's the Fourth one though? I couldn't hear the commentator clearly.

  • 1st Baltic front

  • da vi pasmatritye na tserimoniyu v moskve v den pobedi, i sdes tozhe samoye,

  • Прикольно, товарищи! Кстати, это правда что сегодня нет ядерные ракеты в Беларусы?

  • нету...

  • GAY Russin-Cossack solders watch... ;-)))

    watch?v=IL1-uf-IANw

    watch?v=wQGVxcN9n3M

  • Great video. Seems that tradition of Soviet Army is well-preserved in Belarus.

I'm interested in the first march they played(1:00-2:35). What is the title? Is it traditional one inherited from USSR era, or newly composed one?

    Thanks.

  • Belarus has changed little since Soviet times, which is a good thing.

  • Gracias por el video
