Pretty cool, but that is an odd choice of distros. Can you please explain why you picked those particular distrobutions?
On my Toshiba laptop, I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate, Ubuntu 10.10, Mint 9, Debian Stable, and Mandriva. All are 64 bit. I use a custom GRUB (bootloader). All of the OSs are installed on the internal hard disk. Each is on it's own partition. I also have the bootloader locked down with a password, as to prevent unauthorized access to failsafe modes of linux.
All of the OSes are installed on the notebook harddrive. The two USB cables seen are to the keyboard and mouse. We will be adding three new videos shortly with our new eSATA Combo Device (external).
hey there i have windows 2000 on my computer,i dont want to partitiion my hard drive like you did,i have two hard drives on my computer, one slave one master,i want to put ubunto on the slave hard drive, can i get ubunto and windows to run at the same time?,or can i switich betweent he two wihtout booting up?
Not for me. I couldn't get all of my hardware to work in Ubuntu. I probably could if I replaced my hardware that Ubuntu doesn't currently support. I also haven't become experienced enough using Wine and I need a lot of my Windows programs.
Flash VOS is primarily for people who use multiple operating systems. Different Operating Systems have specializations in certain fields. For example, most prefer to use OSX for graphic/video/editing, Windows for office/gaming/internet use, and Linux for developing/processing/server use. With Flash VOS, you can gain from specialization by having all of the benefits from various Operating Systems on a single computer.

now do it on a mac!
marioguy 4 years ago
That is what we are working on.
SFEtech 4 years ago
How are you able to do that
anakinben 4 years ago
By using Flash VOS. You can run as many operating systems as you want.
The switching is a bit slow because its on a mid spec'd notebook, however, we have two newer models that switch considerably faster.
