Dashboards are miserable, now I know why they have machines put them together! Of all the pieces of this puzzle, the dash was by far the worst. I actually sliced my hand pretty good on a piece of metal when I was putting it back together. I lucked out with the coupler - I took my pressure plate and mailed it off to have the coupler made.

Dashboards and motor to transmission couplers are the hardest two things to overcome when converting a car into an EV! I feel your pain, because my dashboard wouldn't come out, and then it wouldn't go back in either.
