  • Nice car, queer music. Should have had some W.A.S.P. - Wild Child in the video.

  • @dgk990 its from smokey and the bandit, the music fits this video perfect in my opinion. R.I.P. Jerry Reed

  • @dgk990 That is a badass song, but it's the Bandit, it needs the original song.

  • @chaserr120

Yea that's true I guess. That was a famous Trans Am movie, but I was thinking more along the lines of Billy Madison lol

  • @dgk990 Hahaha that movie is fuckin' awesome.

  • (•͡. •͡┌П┐(•͡. •͡┌П┐(•͡. •͡┌П┐

    Sick car!

  • (•͡. •͡┌П┐(•͡. •͡┌П┐(•͡. •͡┌П┐

  • この頃のアメ車って本当にカッコよかったねっ!!

  • @haunibu ronaldo

  • Really great looking car. But a few things: The car needs 4 headlights, not two as they did here. The LSx engine is great, but if you want a Corvette why not just buy one. Would have been nice to pay homage to the 1977 car with a PMD 400. They should have stuck with an original interior and instrumentation as well.

  • @Scrimmer08 I dont think you fully understand what your looking at and what they did with this build. I would take one of these over a new corvette ANY day of the week.

  • Hi markymark - I understand where you're coming from & don't doubt the amazing pieces and effort that went into this car. It's like dreams I had when I owned several 400 and a 455 TA about 16 years ago, actually well beyond those dreams. But, have you driven any of the new Corvettes? I think a 2011 Z06 + $30K would be enough to 'trade' up to this very special TA. Yes I'd like to drive it like zillions of others here..

  • if i had to choose one or the other i'd take both, not that i'm selfish or anything, just love these cars!!

  • Stunning!!! Modern cars will never compare to the classics

  • one piece lights in the front look like shit, shoulda done separate staggered ones

  • The 12 sumbitches that didn't like this video, didn't come from loins.

  • ZOMG!!! pure sexxxxx!!

  • need to sell my TA for this!

  • YES!

  • santa christmas is coming up and umm.... (cough cough) :D

  • Burt Reynolds made this t.a what it is

  • DROOOL

  • Thumbs up on White American culture and society. The foreign car companies never could properly style a vehicle and the ones that do look pretty good were designed in styling studios in America. The American car companies had the best looking cars and the best conceptualized vehicles as well. I remember when this was new I spent an enormous amount of time admiring it both in parking lots and looking at catalogs and car magazines. One of the best looking cars ever made.

  • Good Lord Almighty! This is one beautiful car. Come on CA Lottery! I would buy this car in a heart beat if I had the money!

  • I dont give a damn what anybody says, this car is fucking sexy. Its modern and old school, and its not overly done. Its beautifully done. Props to the genius's at Year One for a job well done. :)

  • Oh, my god.. i need one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have 1979 400 its pretty nice doesnt look as good as this tho

  • The Frankenstein-Bandit... T/A 7.0 Damn!!

And having the original Bandit driving the car at the end is fucking priceless! Nice work, gentlemen.

  • i want one for christmas...

  • haha how much for one of those things? very very sharp looking

  • needs the pontiac emblem on the nose looks unfinished without it.. just saying..

  • @MrTransAm1979 true that

  • @MrTransAm1979 I agree....beautiful car for sure but needs the Pontiac emblem on the nose

  • @MrTransAm1979 you are very right , it does add to the car alot it dont look right without it

  • @MrTransAm1979 you are very right , it does add to the car alot it dont look right without it

  • woow this cars are beatifull , i love T/A

  • Beautiful build, love the modern mechanics, the original is a beast but drives like a truck.

  • Looks great, a modern twist on the TA

  • pontiac was gm,s performance division .... not chevy .

  • A fake handle bar mustache and sideburns should come with each one lol

  • Burnout......Please

  • The car looks amazing, but for pure passionate reasons I'd prefer the original. Which I've wanted since I was a kid!!!

  • you would untill you saw how much gas that ls7 saved

  • Rims and Headlights --> Fail.

Headlights look ricy with the projectors, should have done euro clear OE size replacments if they wanted to mess with them.

The larger wheels were a nice modern touch but the deep dish lip they put on it looks like some G35 drifter specials.

    Everything else, pretty nice.

  • @ford2581 how are the wheels a fail? they are original with a modern touch nothing wrong with that. and euro on an american car? common now

  • @aszilagyi4292 You must have no idea what I'm talking about. Click on the link below for the type of headlights I'm referring too. Deep dish big lip tires are for imports. Like I said before they should have had positive offset wheels like the original had, not make them negative offset wheels which gives it the big polished lip.

  • Hey have you guys should check out the 2010 camaro converted into a trans am it looks way better than the camaro to bad there's no more Pontiac cuz I would have loved to buy one like that

  • BAD ASS!!!!

  • absoulutely the most beautifull trans am!

  • Headlight FAIL.

  • the best PERIOD!.

  • If GM ever brings back Pontiac...they need to make the Trans Am...one kick ass automobile!

  • love thouse wheels

  • HELL YEA CATCH ME IF YOU CAN'' TRANS-AM !!! EAT SHIT MUSTANGS!!!

  • THEY FORGOT THE CB! MAN THATS WHAT MAKES THE CAR!

  • It needs a CB antenna and BAN-ONE on the license plate

  • i would kill for both those cars lol

  • them low profile tires have got to go

  • WE WANT PONTIAC BACK !

  • i love this car! my dad had the 1979 model, it kicked ass! would love to get my hands on one to restore after im finished with the 99 formula im working on.

  • Sweet T/A! I think the 77-78 were the best looking T/A's of all time...Put me down for A BR Edition...When I win the lotto ;)

  • absoloutely awsome!,,,

  • my dad wants to buy one of these, they cost about $120,000 because they are all hand made, but still, they shouldnt be that expensive

  • @CrazyMaddens You could find one a restore it you know.

  • @Facemeltx yeah i know, we have been looking

  • Is there an optional toupee? =P

  • @pontiacrazy Dude its built by YearOne?!?! the car is badass even with a chevy motor?!

  • Where can i get those rims!!

  • @OrangeFiero you have to order them from that company that makes these cars tgheir like 7000 tires and rims

  • @OrangeFiero That other guys a moron, Year One sells them for $749. They have an ebay store called yearonemusclecarparts. Or just search on ebay, 17x9 Snowflake wheels.

  • @partywithbonscott Wrong, those are not the same rims, these are 18's and are like $3,000 rims only. I am going with the 17's though since the $2,000+ price difference with cover my LS1/T56 swap.

  • @Treyhtown I want to do an LS1/T56 swap too. You should look for an LS2, you can find them on ebay for around the same price as an LS1. An LS3 would be pretty badass, but those are a little bit harder to come by.

  • @partywithbonscott The ones I saw were at $4,000 with 3 days left. I am getting my LS1/T56 for $2,000, maybe less if I negotiate.

  • nice, ill bet i can recreate this on roblox

  • I'll take the General Lee thank you!!

  • @Zejawera Fuck a charger

  • @ryderx3x3 I did and the charger still kick ass I fucked up the Trans Am in less than 3 weeks those GM can't handle the pain, like a mopar.

  • cool video this trans am is the best.. can't believe when this came out some people did not like this car with the eagle on the hood!! i love the screaming eagle and they should bring it back like the new camaro!!

  • @SyrianKnight01 its not an eagle..its a phoenix also known as the firebird..and yes i agree they should bring it back..sadly they arent going to.i was planning to buy one.i own a 79 trans am and an 02 firebird.

  • @SyrianKnight01 Yes, they should LOVE these cars and the Smoke & Bandit Editions with the Eagle, such beautiful cars

  • my 6.6 is just a little to heavy for a big boss ford aor a 350 chevy trans am !

  • beyond cool!

  • And to that chev rock sh*t, remember SD455

  • I love year one i live 1 mile away from it! best car shows in gerogia

  • original is wayyy nicer.

  • my 1970 Camaro Z28 would easily beat this

  • I dont like the headlights on the Year One. I kind of expected a better look or a more original look for the 200,000 youre going to spend on it. It looks to me like a version of the car you'd see driving around in East LA back in 1983 after it had gotten stolen.

I don't like the rims either. It looses its muscle car look with the rubber bands.

  • this is amazing

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • this should/will be on the fast and furious 5?

  • @iamxeddiex I hope that movie wont come out for a while, the prices on these cars are going to skyrocket.

  • year one ought to donate one of these to me before this cancer put me down

  • @jnorrisish

Fuck it man, go out and steal one. Enjoy the fuck out of the time u got left bro.

  • 1:16, i think i just found heaven lol

  • Nice Buckets!!!!!

  • I think they used the ZO6-motor from the Vette.

GM should have redesigned a 455 cu in. Pontiac Big Block using LS-Engine tech.

  • I believe this is the Yearone Burt Reynolds edition

I have heard these things cost like six figures to buy.

All I can say is; if I win the lottery "it's on like a pot of neck bones"

  • GIT-R-DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this car is like a dream too bad i woke up

  • ahhhhh....(drools)

  • The wheels arent that great

  • i love the upgrades!

the wheels are awesome because they are like the original but better...awesome job id drive it!

  • Does anyone know the website or auto body shop that re built the TransAm? I would love to have a better built TA but still looks like the old style

  • OMIGOD!!!!!! Awesome ride.....look @ those HUGE brakes....

  • So Where do I order mine?

  • Awesome!!!

  • Beautifull car.I just love the stance and the wheels!..Buford T.Justice's worst nightmare!!!

  • great work very beautiful car

  • such a nice ride man !

  • That car is badass!!! You all need to do that to Dukes of Hazard car, seeing it remade and modernized like this car would be badass too!

  • @StumpAway with the NEW charger, baddass to HELL!

  • What a bunch of whiners!!! Shut up and enjoy the damn car!!! I was a HUGE Smokey and the Bandit fan when I was a kid, and the car made the movie, but this version kicks ass, PERIOD!!! Argue all you want, I could care less.

  • I can see the pontiac engine argument, but that ls6 is lighter, up to date and way more "froggy" lmao, It's a small block package with big block cubes. Along with all the road racing suspension upgrades why put a heavy, bulky big block in it?

I'd give anything for one of these, last I checked Year One builds them per order around 130 grand, 3 different performance levels too. I'd take one of these over the new camaro all day, every day.

  • If I could pick any car in the world I wanted, one of these late 70s T/A's would be right up at the top. Definately one of the best looking cars I've ever seen...quick too

  • I HATE THIS CAR!!!! they needed to NOT PUT A FREAKIN CHEVY IN IT. pussy way out... shoulda put a poncho under that shaker

  • No shit! It,s a GM product, Did you really believe a Firebird, a Trans Am and the Chevy Camaro had their own enigines?..........Duh!!! Not! it,s all standard GM

  • ACtually Dumbass, when the car came out it had a PONTIAV ENGINE in it with a PONTIAC Serial number, Pontiac had thier own, better, line of engines until 1981 when they were cut because pontiac cared more about going fast than economy, the pontiac powered trans ams kicked the chevy powered Camros ass all the way through the 70s, so they may both be a GM product, but putting a chevy in a pontiac is wrong because it is not "the same thing"

  • bullshit for the most part the t/a was slow, so was the camaro, and you forgot about the olds engine they put in em too

  • @pontiacrazy68 Actually, Pontiac began to make a transition in their engines in '79 when they began putting oldsmobile 403's in their production vehicles. '80-81 was their first years for the turbo engines.

  • @pontiacrazy68 lol, it's funny when you called someone a dumb ass when you made yourself look like one. lol

  • @pontiacrazy68 I agree with you completely. What is the point of buying a Trans Am if its just gonna be a knock off of the Camaro... I like both cars of course but if I am going to buy one I want it to be its own car not a copy cat.

  • @pontiacrazy68 Don't get me wrong, I love my Ponchos... RIP Pontiac. GM screwed up that one big time. I cried when I had to sell my '06 GTO... But not all old T/A's had Pontiac engines. My '79 T/A had a 403 Olds from the factory. It's a new era. No more Pontiac or Oldsmobile. Would you feel better if it was a Holden 7 litre? GM compressed, and wants to be global. I don't like it, but it's fact. I doubt a Pontiac V8 crate engine is even available anymore...

  • u should of left the pontiac symbol on the front

  • Comment removed

  • thats bad ass
