  • is this the wreake in leicestershire? i heard that its going to be made deeper and wider soon but i dont know if thats true do you know? some great fish in the wreake brilliant memeries of fighing there

  • oK guys here we go...paddling on both sides is ok (even canadian) when the speed of your canoe is slow or if an additional amount of force is required to manuver. It has nothing to do with being Canadian, but it is nice that you notice. This guy needs a little "up stream" coaching though

  • Nice canoe, but the Algonquin style canoe was made of birh bark and not of wood (anyway birch wood rot rapidly).

  • Yeah, he's using the "goon" stroke!

  • cool canoe

  • Nice canoe, even nicer music! what is it?

  • Last of the Mohicans theme

  • nice canoe

  • Nice canoe but the big guy rowing looks like he has never seen a boat before... paddling both sides is not very canadian.

  • True. I personally favour the J-stroke, but he's fighting the flood, so he needs that little extra force.

  • needs a bigger paddle as well, with a bigger blade.

  • Going upstream I think he could use a double blade...

  • Paddling on 1 side is silly unless you're doing olympic sprinting.

The boat is sexy looking though, even if its useless for racing.

  • Naw, learning to paddle Canadian style is a great way to teach yourself finesse and paddle control...learn to do it well and you'll be a better paddler than you ever could be switching sides...

  • Lovely Canoe Tony ! Being such a tall lad, Robin makes it look a lot smaller than it really is.

    The music is magical!
