I've always liked this song and I've always understood the message but now listening to it again after going to Ethiopia it moves me even more because it's so true... since I've held all of these children in my own arms,washed feet of people with elephantitis they suddenly don't all look alike to me anymore, I can't even start thinking of the fact that I will probably never know how these children ended up..I've seen so much suffering. volunteering there has opened my eyes to many things..

As great as her heart seems to be. It is sad to see the negative things about her influencing sooo much. Unfortunate to say that. I think her music is beautiful. But where is truth and where is Christ in all of this. The truth is it is hard to speak truth. No one wants to hear it. We all just want to feel good. Faith without deeds is dead... Let that sink in. If we have faith in the Lord, how can we do nothing? How can we sit back and let people Like Brooke Fraser try to help the world all alone? We can all make a difference, if not in Rwanda then in your town! I'm 14 and I'm trying so hard to make a difference. @nothingtoware I think its about that she’s seen Rwanda’s needs, she’s experienced and felt for Rwanda, and if she just left Rwanda she would be guilty of neglecting it, she is saying she is going to do something about the needs out there, like she kinda has to... like she cant expect it to get better without her doing her part (faith without deeds is dead) ... sorry vie explained that pretty rubbishy ... hope i helped?

I am not religious and I know she is a highly devout christian, but I love this song for how moving it is. The message in this song is of love - and I think that no matter what religion you are, love is all that matters. =)

This makes me cry. After my graduation I'm planning to go and do voluntary work for Projects Abroad. Like Brooke Fraser says, we're all responsible for each other, so therefore it's only right to do so. I love the message in this song, I love the purity of Brooke Fraser.

Okay, we get it, she has her tongue peirced. GET OVER IT!!! Maybe you should start focusing on the meaning in the lyrics and the people in the video. Stop stating the obvious, we can all see that she has her tongue done. BUT We also see that there are people in countries of poverty who have very little, if not nothing and need our help. But, no, all you care about is her tongue.

What is inherently wrong about a piercing? This does not make her less capable of loving Jesus. It is a personal life choice and is her right to do so. God won't judge her for having a bit of metal in her mouth. By that logic, getting fillings would be a problem too.

This is a beautiful song, breaks my heart every time, it shows the true nature of a kiwi! I am proud to be a kiwi and thankful to live in New Zealand i am so blessed we have so much compassion and Brooke is a great example for us all. Beautiful inside and out!!!!! Check out another kiwi singer song writer Maisey Rika she sings about Romanian orphans its sad but another example of a beautiful person inside and out!
