@jgalvez213 You're right. That's a swimmer. People like to swim from the Hermosa pier to the Manhattan pier and back. They even do an annual race to find how who is fastest.

@volksdragonvw Cool.  It's amazing that you were able to find the video on YouTube. It must have been weird when you discovered it. Great job shooting the pier. I used to do that on a boogie board when I was a little kid. I hope you like the video.

I've got an old book from my youth in SoCal called 'Surftoons'. One of the 'toons shows an old couple on HB pier watching a surfer dead-center a piling. "If that's what they call 'shooting the pier', that whippersnapper's a good shot!"

I was a point break man myself. Sunset Bl and north.

@gordonemoore I remember going under the pier on a boogie board a few times when I was a kid. I never tried it on a surfboard. The waves are still breaking in Malibu. You can see some shots of surfers in my Suzuki GS650G Motorcycle Ride video.
