Is this guy out of his f#$king mind. If a kid is not old enough to sud the gun himself, he's not old enough to shoot it. A few years back a kid was killed when he tried to fire a 9mm uzi. When he pulled the trigger the muzzle rose up and he shot himself in the head and was killed. And the "Teaching kids gun safety" argument is not valid either. At his age all the boy should be taught is if he sees a gun to not touch it, walk away, and tell an adult. He's not old enough to understand any more that
omg people if u agree that this is ok, u r all dumb. what about all those kids in the past yrs who have had accidents like shot themselves or someone they know. u r saying that a kid that can't comprehend how much damage these guns have if they were to shoot themselves, is ok or even funny. well u know what i hope when the day comes that if they were to have an accident and hurt themselves u r willing to take full responsibility.
Yeah, it makes more sense for a kid to have no idea about gun safety, how to handle a firearm and still be curious about them than it is for a kid who grew up around them, understands gun safety and knows firsthand the destructive power of them. Makes perfect sense. You can blame the parents of kids who have firearm accidents due to them not teaching the kids proper firearm safety and/or not keeping a proper firearm safe.
@alexamberdeegan maybe if everyone was familiar with guns, their use, their power, and the destruction they caused, we could all live in harmony. but as it stands people like you stand in the way of proper firearm education that can save lives. Curiosity killed the ca, and the 6 year old who found daddy's gun for the first time and wanted to play cops and robbers. Maybe if daddy had taught him what it was and what it could do he wouldn't be so inclined to pick it up.
@alexamberdeegan ah don't worry man :) looks like that guy had a good safe handle on that gun. saying that my dad took me to a field and an hollow tv set and set it a far, he took his gun and shot the tv while i was watching, and after that I knew guys were serious business, education at work as well as safety as you can see, nothing can go wrong :)
@Right2Know as far as i know in the states anyone under the age of 18 can fire a gun as long as there's an adult around (wich clearly there was) they just can't own one, so what law is being broken here? he wasn't edangering the child the father had control of the firearm the whole time. relax and don't be so uptight
@paulyski Thank you so much, if kids arent introduced to guns at an early age, they may become more currious about them then thats when an accident happens
Yeah! That's awesome. If your that father, your a great pops. I've got the most incredible dad and he always gave me moments to remember like that.:)

Agreed. I'm glad you're not one of the maniacs that think because this kid touches a gun that the dad should be shot.
