Why does it say that even though you were nowhere near a stop?

P.S. These buses have cord bells? It doesn't even have the tape thingy nor that button?

It says "Please exit through the rear door" whenever someone requests a stop. They have pull cords though instead of the tape, but they still have the buttons on the poles.
