I've seen Saga several times back in Toronto in the early 80's at the Danforth Music Hall, and the Richmond Inn, just north of To. Those were the days, thanks for the posting , still love saga music. keeps me young lol
Still remember this song at the gig in Stockholm on Full Circle tour 1999. As at 3,50 in this clip, Steve start the drum for the solo part. All, the band, the croud, were waiting for him to hit it. Just the sound of the bass tune.
Instead he stood up and just smiled in his Maple Leafs shirt. A memory for life.
@hybiin I've seen Saga with 4 different drummers - only one of them has the genuine Saga-sound. I also wanna see Steve standing in his Maple Leafs shirt! You lucky you! Cherish that memory, hybiin! :-)
@gjellevel42 You are right, Steve IS Saga. But I think Brian is fantastic and do a good job. I like he have go back to electronic drum on Wind Him Up. And also that he is doing some background vocal.
The third drummer I have on my list is the studio drummer on Wildest Dreams -87. No memory of that guy. The band did not come to Sweden when Simpson and the stand in drummer for Brian played in the band so I am just up to 3.
Waiting for nov 9, they play in a small venue here. Great.
Man ..Sam ..came from the Planet Saga..alright/..When i say this Believe me their are the best in the business live..Five way talented Dudes..Canada ya should be Prouuud of this Guys..and Also for .the three Gems..called RUSHhh...he..Awesome don't it...
Saga's new CD is coming out this October 2007 called 10,000 days hence 1977-2007. I'm also saddened to say Micheal Sadler, the lead singer is retiring from the group and this will be their last album. aaaarrrrrggggghhhh!

I see the stage is from Heads or Tales.
The video and the sound are not really syncronised...
