Beautiful bikes, but humor me on this one. Try installing toe clips and straps. Even if you leave the straps loose, they'll make the pedaling experience a lot more fun, because you're not always thinking about the position of your foot on the pedal, or having your foot slide off the pedal, which (trust me on this) is extremely dangerous.

You should get clipless pedals. It will shave off at least 30 seconds on the ride around the neighborhood.

@brianmcg321 does it look like they're racing / trying to shave seconds off their ride? If you aren't doing time trials, or rocketing down the side of a mountain, clipless pedals are little more than gear myopia.

You have to admit thought, it isn't hard at all to believe that someone would see a vid of these ladies cruising around and in all seriousness tell them that they should be using clipless pedals. :)
