@jordtizzle I disagree. Torque is the cross product of the leverage arm and a force produced by your biceps muscle(tau = r X F). So not only is having longer arms more beneficial, but you gotta have the muscle to defeat your opponent!

The dad won because he's got stronger, well-developed muscles(a much greater FORCE), even though his arms are much shorter(smaller distance). And vice-versa...he lost because even though his arms are much longer, he doesn't have that much force(muscle power).
