I have a chocolate Labrador who is 1 year old and he only knows how to sit, give paw and eat lmao :P but, AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW the puppy is adorable!!!
@nickjarvis01, play is interactive. I encourage my pups and dogs to play by luring them with a specific toy like a ball, tug or frisbee. Once they learn that the item represents a game or 'fun', they are ready for learning. The pup in this clip is now 21 months old and is still playful, but she has direction and understands that the work is a prelude to her fun. It's easy to get a pup to understand that a toy is the gateway to learning and still keep the work interesting and enjoyable.
@nickjarvis01. Owners control access. That way the toy is always linked with interaction with the owner. You as the owner determine access to the toy, when the dog should play with it and for how long. I prefer real smoked bones as pacifier toys and personally never permit a dog to chew or destroy man made materials.

@nickjarvis01 All dogs AT ANY AGE need toys or bones to chew because if not your furniture would be eaten up.
