Seems this one has the more "flat" sump, towards the front. I've noticed you've got the flush buttons the way round it said to, I installed mine the opposite as it looks better. Quite powerful though. Was the cistern overfilled?

i thought that too the flush seems abit different aswell

the cistern was half full just above the water level mark on the flush valve

You may have the plungers under the lid set up wrong, it needs to be so the little plunger pushes just the white button in, to give a half flush. The big plunger needs to push both the black button and white one. The water mark on the flush valve is wrong, you want the water line on the cistern which is just below the flushvalve one.

it is all set up correctly

the flush valve does not make a loud clonk like yours does when the flush stops. it just slowly shuts off

i have filled it all the way till it overflows and i am just about to flush it

I think the bowl is different in some way

the full tank flush was good but quite different to yours

I have a fluidmaster flapper valve that will fit in the tank so I might see how that does

The bowl is different, very similar shape, the front of the water hole/sump is definitely different, mine's curved, the rim must be different too. Mine almost closes in towards the front.

I know I was looking at yours and my nans today and they are exactly the same both with the same style of flush

mine is abit strange though I wonder if all the new ones are the same as mine

I think the much newer ones are the same as yours, I've seen a few. Infact, the last one I saw excluding mine was like yours.
