  • COLORED GLASSES! Like trying to teach a blind person to drive a car. You can tell them how to shift and turn, but they can't see the road. In 1988, 60 minutes aired a segment on colored glasses for dyslexics. I was severally dyslexic. I went out and got a pair. Purple was my color. Blues or reds are the colors that work best. At 28 I could read for the first time! I could see the print. It's a physical handicap. Side note, after laysic eye surgery I don’t need my colored glasses any more.

  • I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was 22yrs. by that time I had got very bad grades for my gcse's (exams taken at the final year of school in uk) and computing hardware courses, and to add to that i had been kick out of uni.

  • You look Beautiful in a suit.

  • My youngest daughter (11) is dyslexic......so was my Dad!

  • Oh god--- did this really hit home! It actually made me cry, oh, dear. This was me when I was a kid. You did good and thank you.

mis hijos y yo nos vemos claramente reflejados en el film.

  • I'd love to see your movie. Fascinating and I'd like to share with my family and friends. My oldest son is dyslexic. He is a 7th grader now, he had tremendous success thanks to Swift School in Roswell, GA. I would like to share with them too!

  • This is a great trailer Harvey. Loved it! Can't wait for the movie to be released in Australia!

    Cheers

  • I'm really looking forward to seeing your film,, have been for a long time, but I'm based in the UK so I imagine I'm going to have to wait just a bit longer to see it.

  • It is great!

  • Thank you for this. I have a kid who is Dyslexia, and I need help!

  • Cute film, about a painful subject. Dyslexia is not easy. -Growingup with it, -I was tutored constantly, put in special ed, summer school every summer. I felt like an idiot.-"Normal" or " popular" kids didn't want anything to do with me. For years, I think my dad felt he produced a bad seed. I felt his sarrow. I am actually finally becoming quite happy with who I am. -It only took 47 yrs. -But look, I've seen some massively brilliant :-) people do some dumb stuff. Secret is, its all perspective.

  • Thanks for making a movie for all the dyslexics out there. My schooling has been hell for a while. I got better for a few years, but now I think I'm sinking back into my dyslexia... it took me until 4th grade to write coherent scentences, and only last year was I able to really write and correct myself... but the other subjects just get harder as my writing impoves... it's scary.

...show me the people who think dyslexia doesnt exist, I want to have a word with them....

  • looks good, I think I have dyslexia, I've never learnt 'ABCs' my hand writings all over the page and I'm a terable speller., I'm in 7th grade now and I have vision problems, I tell my teachers but they think I'm making excuses, I think if my teachers knew more about dyslexia then they might be able to help or put me on a progrem etc.

I was hoping to get into the art class, I'm farly good at art despite my vision problems., how did you make it through school with dyslexia?

  • I cheated and lied and tried to be invisbile in the classroom, and made tons of excuses all the time, it was awful, I wish you luck, I'm 23 now, and I can encourage you to do what you feel is good for you, and never be ashamed of cheating or liying, it's part of the game, especially for us, especially when everyone around is so ignorant about what we actually are.

  • Im gonna go see this film when it comes to cinemas :)

Ave had dyslexia for aslong as i can remember. everything in this trailer reminds me of maself, when i was little i allways asked why i was so defferent from all thr other kinds and i allways tryed to hide at the back of the class room.

I relly hope this film helps other people understand dyslexia better :)

  • This movie looks really good... I was diagnosed with dyslexia at 18, so had to struggle through school on my own as no one picked up I had a problem, even with my mum expressing concerns, so I hope this movie helps people understand what it is like to go through life with dyslexia.

Mind you it does make you feel good that famous people like Einstein were dyslexic...and look how they worked out!

  • Can't wait to see the whole movie. What a wonderful way, with a sense of humor, to share the word of Dyslexia. GREAT JOB !!!
