this is my first kingdom hearts (and i still have a long way to go ˆˆ)... it took a loooong time to understand a lot of things, but this is one of the best games i've ever played... aww wish i could play all the KH games =X

i think 358/2 Days is the most emotional out of all the games, Sora didnt have to go through anything like Roxas did, nor Xion. Amazing doesnt come close to describing how good this game is.

This was my first Kingdom Hearts. I kinda picked it up on a whim, but I had heard good things about the series, and this game looked to have the gameplay of the PS2 ones (unlike the GBA).

It gave me one of my favorite RPG experiences, with fun action, an addicting system for customization, and really cool areas to explore. That said, I think there was a little too much Twilight Town and Agrabah.

Except the GBA game did stick with the gameplay of the PS2 titles... Except with cards. It was still largely an action-RPG; they just made you think a bit more. Though you didn't say it was bad... so I'll shut up.

As for the world-based gripe, I disagree. I love Twilight Town and want more. However, over the years I've grown to hate Agrabah, I'll admit.

this was the first kingdom hearts game i ever played, and i love it! it has such a brilliant story and really good music and i was really sad at the end, i wanted so much for roxas to beat riku! they need to remaster this game for the 3DS, so they can put in all the stuff they had to leave out because there wasn't enough space on the cartridge

@AmethystLink While 358/2 Days got some unfavorable reviews, I also enjoyed it. I highly recommend you play the others. They are all pretty damn brilliant and you can pick them up pretty cheap. A PS2 is not much (if you don't have one) and the games sell for next to nothing.

@DetectiveDusk i guess i could. i've got re:coded as well, but one of the hinges on my ds is broken, the ds still works fine, but it randomly turns off or reboots itself, usually where it's really inconvenient. i have managed to complete re:coded, but the experience was ruined a little by having to redo chunks of it.

I hate this version. why? because it's the most beautiful, yet the system of its creation didn't have the capabilities to run it as beautifully as it should have. If I could have it with sound quality that wasn't hampered by the fact that it was made for a 2004 portable system, then this song would double the incredible amount of awesome it already has,

This quite possibly my favorite KH game. I love Roxas' story; he is the only emo character I will ever like. His character overall is so much more relatable than Sora's. Roxas gets angry, gets sad, whereas Sora is always happy and optimistic. I like the pessimism that runs through the 358/2 story. It's overall, a great and depressing couple of days.
