  • lagrima, excelent! and paint black... amazing... :)

  • For you 9 guys. He doesn't mean literaly to Paint a wall Black. It's a song

  • Comment removed

  • @chabeworks

fortunately, I think "The Stones" would be a lot more enlightened then you. Go stick your head back in the sand.

  • @ThePainRemover no need ta be rude just because what you think and what i think differ--he is an awesome guitarist however--best regards

  • @chabeworks

Interesting.... I don't find my comments to be any ruder than yours.

  • @ThePainRemover the comment i made was on the artist rendition that did this tube--is that you ? if so I apologize--if not then get over it man--hes a great guitarist--but the stones are anything but classical--actually out of respect i removed my comment--other than that this discussion is ended....geeeeez

  • @chabeworks

Oh gee wiz. It is amazing, how the individuals who are able to dish out judements, are unable to take some themselves. :)

  • on 2:51 he plays the note like i would play everyone... ^^

  • Very baroque sounding for a 70's rock song.

  • Tarrega

  • whoaa!!! thats awesome bro!

  • 3:03 .... excelente.

    un saludo desde colombia

  • 9 deuches who didn't like it, just die.

  • pure talent, that sounded amazing, i could listen to that all day

  • PRICK

  • sos la leche xDD

  • what is the second (classical) thing he plays?

  • is that a Maton?

  • @falaise40 Corse you can - this is a practised note for note rote performance, and Malcolm's is cleverer. I reckon being able to make stuff up on the spot takes genius, and being able to do it the same every time is craft. maybe you haven't seen Malcolm play. This is pretty, malcolm actually paints it black. Someone died ffs!

  • Michael,

Great blend of classical styling with the Stones. When you coming to California?

  • to help me stay humble, always someone better.

  • i'm jealous... and just realized how bad i suck at guitar :(

  • The way I look at this situation is; anyone who never stops playing does not suck. I see so many people give it up. That's what sucks. I am sure this fellow could learn something from you.

  • welcome to the club :p

  • grosso

  • ... *speechless*

  • OMG I can't believe this =(__)

  • FN Amazing man!

  • WOW, absolutely amazing.

  • You are really inspiring

  • I seriously want a guitar like that.

  • Sry but really dont this kind of playing..

  • Sad that people give you thumbs down just for stating an honest opinion. Although I enjoy this, myself, it does seem to be more about Michael than about the song; the extra bits are not based on the theme, and just seem to be classical exercises thrown in.

I like it, but I personally prefer John Malcolm's more raw and spontaneous flamenco rendition, even 'tho it's only a cell phone video.

  • classical exercises? no, its lagrima by Franscisco Tarrega

  • @YayBenSpeck Oh; then it's even less creative than I thought.

John Malcolm's spontaneous version still does it for me, flawed as it is.

  • This is ace.

  • thats incredible..do you have the tabs for that? i wanna try it but i doubt i'll be able to play it like that

  • you are a wizard on the guitar man

  • Miyavi should do this.

  • that would be very intresting to watch! i've seen a few of his vids... my sisters mad about him and Jrock.

  • I really like some of these covers, especially this one! :)

  • nice rendition!

  • What a great song! Makes me wish I could play the guitar. Maybe someday.

  • very nice ! :) rock on man !

  • Nice. The classical guitar part is called "Lagrima" by Tarrega, in case anyone wanted to know.

  • Very, VERY nice!!

  • have you heard paint it black?

  • most of paint it black is sitar....(however you spell it)

  • no
