I was wondering how did caring for you hair change? like you probably have to switch to a color shampoo and condition more and how did it react once it faded did you re dye it?

@sarahrakeelia I use my normal shampoo and conditioner plus a fructis conditioner the one for coloured/lightened hair :) i've dyed it once more since and did pretty much the same thing and it's still pretty light months later and fading into a nice golden/medium brown. If i dye it again i think i'd need to invest in Moroccan oil though just to help with the dryness etc that comes with bleaching dark hair but for now it's coping alright. hope that helps!

@centered28 thanks & i use moroccan oil when i flat ironed it and it helped restore the dryness I used it twice and it was back to my normal healthy state. I also used the loreal frost & glow highlighting kit for medium to dark hair which is amonia free it comes with a great shampoo and conditioner which i know usually your not supposed to shampoo but this kit said to. it was really kind to my hair which is saying something cause i have curly indian hair which doesn't take well to dryness.

I like the result! I prefer it subtle like yours more than a bleaching from black/brown to blonde! It looks nicer :)

if read the bleaching box it says ur not suppose to leave bleach i nthe bottle for then more then 40- 1 hour or it will pop

Haha the reason your bleach is "exploding" out of your bottle is because its oxidizing... it expands from the peroxide in it :)

@blueberryglaze its actually alright considering i bleached it :) i used the conditioner that came with it and got 4 uses out of it which i think helped a lot and other than that im happy with the state of my hair :)

@centered28 haha, so one more question; do you think if i just use the actual hair colour i want my ombre hair to be (caramel colour) and apply it just the same it would work as well? because i really don't want to bleach my hair, haha, it's probably going to turn orange on mine if i do :)

@blueberryglaze haha well it probably wont make much of a difference to your hair cos its so dark :s if you're scared your hair will go orange you could always do a test strip like i did :) and then time it and see how long you need to leave it in to get the colour you want! i didnt wanna bleach my hair either cos of the damage etc but its honestly still healthy :) if you have any other questions just ask :)

i love love love love love this!!!!! I want to do it SO BAD! and I think that happened to your bottle because the hair dye instructions usually say if you leave it too long, the bottle with "explode" because of the chemicals and whatnot
