This has got to be one of the funniest videos I've ever seen...Go gotta fast forward to 4:30 and watch this guy try to explain spray polyurethane, and why its so much better than injection molding, and why it is such a great invention, as opposed to just using real leather in an interior...It is CLASSIC CLASSIC FORD MINDSET...Then convince yourself this is a $45K car,...or maybe just kinda LOOKS like one...I bet the Asians and Europeans are laughing their asses off watching this...

This molded door panel looks real because the original mold was created from genuine real stitched leather..." Wow! Ford is doing a terrific job of trying to build cars that will appeal to the masses. What I've seen, they're doing a great job! I am considering buying one of these cars, built in Chicago by American workers, and designed by American engineers. I wish the foreign car buyers would take another look at the Taurus, actually any of the domestic car models, and give them a try.
your operative word of TRYING is completely accurate...Now, if they could only start SUCCEEDING at it, then we might have something worth the ridiculous price Ford is using as their artificial MSRP.
If you must buy this car, be sure to negotiate a $6K discount over any rebates they already offer. Molded plastic door panel inserts and fake suede on the seats?....how Edselesque of you Ford....

Looks really good. But I wish if they didn't put chrome around the rear lights. It gives an aftermarket feel. Still amazing
