  • Sherbrooke vous dit d'aller tous chier!!!

  • @lalaurentide Voyons, Sherbrooke a un meilleur sens de l'humour que ça.

  • Sherbrooke, where the non min wage job are shops and call centers!

  • You can go to a bar. Or you can go to a bar. HAHA.

  • I like the humour, Rio de janeiro indeed. You forgot Adelaide on the East coast, with its famous copy of the Sherbrooke opera house. Keep up the insanity, lurking beneath the low-key municipal promotion.

  • @ranagoliath Thank you very much. :) It's always fun to have someone "get" it, whatever that means.

  • Tell me who knows Sherbrooke well,

I am a new immigrant who's learning French.

I prefer small city to big city. I want French environment to motivate myself.

I do not work but I want cheap room rent.

Do you think Sherbrooke is a good area for me?

Can I find a free French class for immigrants like the other cities?

  • @kanamy9 That's a good question. I don't like work and like cheap rent as well, so I guess Sherbrooke is slightly cheaper than cities. However, if you want to master French earlier, it might be best to come to a city like Montréal where there are more people. Sherbrooke, while with a lot of French residents, is also very English in every surrounding area in the townships. Also, if eventually you do want a job, as the video parodies, Sherby is difficult to find a job if you have no experience.

  • @Brucelives Thanks for advice! So I'll consider Montreal.

  • As a Sherbrooke native, I want to feel insulted but I can't. It's true that there's not much to do in Sherbrooke, but it's still a nice, quiet place to live. I live in Montreal now and I miss Sherbrooke very badly.

  • @lune78 The video is a lighthearted jab at the fact that Sherbrooke is losing most of its businesses and things to do thanks to poor decisions in the economic fields by our elected officials. A sad fact is that just 5 years ago, the centre ville was booming with stores and young folks liked to go out to thrift shops, used music and video stores, art galleries, the Presse Café with its Diabolo carbonated drinks, let's just say that was is mostly left is somewhere to drink. I hope things pick up.

  • @Brucelives

Yes, I totally understand what you mean. Why do you think I left Sherbrooke? Because I just couldn't find a job there and there was not much to do. As much as I love my hometown, I have to admit that things aren't what they used to be. If it wasn't for the cégeps and universities, Sherbrooke would be mostly a ghost town. But it still has a very special place in my heart because I grew up there and I still love to go back there from time to time.

  • Fuck Sherbrooke

  • @vicepad Buy her a drink first though.

  • ahh that's just to good!

  • Ché où cette été lol !

  • @xxxxasile44xxxxx Absolument! Sherbrooke EST la place où aller quand tu veux t'amuser. ;)

  • @Brucelives Yé !

  • Or go to a bar.. Or go to a bar.. Or go to a bar.. Or go to Lazer Tag. Haha thats great

  • @JoshiiWah The worst part is their on the same street except the last two ones. Midtown is about two streets, and all the bars and strip clubs are on the same street, Wellington's street...

  • Jean Luc Picard memorial dam FTW!!!

  • @gbouffard FTW indeed!
