I had one of my gerbils in my lap once and my cat came by, and it jumped onto my cat's head and sat there. My cat was just sitting there like "What is on my head?" looking confused, and my gerbil curled up to take a nap. On his head. (My cat doesn't try to eat my gerbils by the way, he lets them crawl all over his face.)

lol, I was kidding...about the eyesight thing :P. I used to breed gerbils few years back so believe me, I've seen my share of gerbil jumps and misses lol but I've also seen them hit their targets. They're cute little things indeed lol.

Cute, his eyesight isn't the best or something. I used to have gerbils, but one actually jumped out of the tank, and crawled/landed on the side perfectly every time. He even walked on the ledge, had perfect balance for a gerbil.
