The Earth is IIRC 40,000km est in circumference, a Tornado CAN circle the Earth but it will need multiple mid-air refuelings in order to do so and it will take a lot longer than 1 hour. It would also have to cruise at a much lower speed than it's max speed to be effficient. Ultimately, nobody would want to be stuck in a cockpit like that for tens of hours which is why they travel in stages.
