  • there's the turtleeeee

  • Fake.

  • @smokeybarr Real.

  • juvenile great whites do look liek tiger sharks

  • i want that laugh as my ringtone LOL

  • @rainhamendgill for reference... 00:54 seconds

    lol

  • That woman's laugh is scarier than any shark!

  • 0:57 why did the lady laugh like that. She sounded evil.

  • i saw both sharks in the aquairum and they were making money off of it dumasses release both of them because they were eating all the other animals when they both got to 10ft long should of kept the shark let it grow to be huge to show people how awseome these animals are

  • the white shark, (no racist pun intended for the more sensitive types) has a record of not living long in captivity, and as it is on the endangered species list, its only fare that they get a chance to live there lives as best as posssible in the open sea, before some dumb ass man comes along and kills it. it is also widely known that we know very little about the white shark, then so be it, let it remain that way!.

  • See that BIG ASS tuna on 0:15??? Even larger than the joung great white!

  • its cute

  • it is a white shark :)..wonder what happens if he hits the glass, even if by accident?

  • It was just a juvinile they had to release it because it kept on smashing into the walls.

  • i thoughtthat it started attacking other sharks and actually killed one. i saw video of it being released i dont know which particular fish it was, i think it was on a shark week segment on discovery channel . it's obvious that they can't have adult whites or even young adults they are simply to dangerous and even a "what is that bite" can be fatal . not to mention that the normal diet of the larger sharks are seals thats not cute to see little fuzzy seal pup get munched!!!! cool though

  • So much ignorance in here (par for the course for Youtube).

The great whites were released not because they were getting unhealthy. It was because 1) aquarium staff can't get the shark out safely if it gets really big and 2) if it gets too big it'll start harassing other animals in the tank. The first white shark started attacking the smaller animals at a certain point.

It does just fine in there, stop being so sensational and insisting they're being abused.

  • o:55 creepy laugh!!

  • they have had 3 young great whites to date and have released them back into the ocean when it has become clear that the cannot fuction in a large tank, am sure they will achieve the ultimate of keep a great white alive in captivity eventually...but am not sure if thats a good thing at all...still facinating!

  • Poor white shark....why the hell is it even called a white shark when only its underside is white and it is gray to brown on the top????? i think white people are trying to associate themselves with something so powerful, deadly, misunderstood and yet oh so beautiful.....SIKE...it should be called a half black n white shark...oh, and Fuck the crackers at that aquarium for keepin one there...it needs the ocean to live assholes

  • fuck you nigger dumb ass fucking spook im sure the white man named it that to opress the blacks. your so fucking ignorant you took something so non racial and posted the stpidest comment ive ever seen.

  • how the fuck do you even know what ethnicity i am??? why don't you go into the ocean and actively try to search for one of these so it can bite your stupid ass in half

  • @jgilruth369 you pussy ass cracker always internet clowning why dont you tell that face up to a so called "spook" you lil dick, un-athletic, inbreed , honkey ass non dancing, flat booty bitches, long pointy nose, smelling like wet dog ass somewhere!

  • @j68oshua chill guys, what's going on?

  • I think it's awesome that finally an aquarium has managed to keep a Great White. I always wondered when one would. If your going to leave comments on Great Whites in captivity DMC then make sure you put in a case for Shamu.

  • i think its a mako....

i dont think there has been a white shark in captivity... that was successful that is.

  • There is one at Monterey, he is young

  • where is this

  • I have been to this aquarium many times, I love this place. This aquarium has had 3 White Sharks, I have seen 2 of them. The Tank is enormous, it should have alot of room. When the shark shows signs of un-improvement they release it. It is an amazing site.

  • obviously this is juvenile shark and should be tagged and released in the while beacuse it needs more room

  • I feel sorry for the shark, shoudn't be kept as a large attraction. Please release it before it dies !!

  • I wonder what happens if his mother comes looking for it!!

  • yeah then we have jaws 3 REAL LIFE

  • Wow....friggin' incredible...they have been trying to keep a great white in captivity for years with no success...awesome sight to see one feeding in captivity.

  • You can adopt and name a great white shark at a website called adoptashark(dot)com, very cool

  • tch. Great killer of the big blu in a big blue tank for all to see. great.

  • Whoa! Did you notice how the shark at 1:58 swallowed that chunk just as it was passing through?

  • First of all I'm not 6'5". I would say I'm closer to six foot even. Therefore I'm not very tall. Second of all, that was a quote from a famous Monty Python sketch. One important factor I use to judge a person is their sense of humor which would appear you sadly lack. Relax, take a deep breath and laugh. Try it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

  • Sounds like somebody has a slight ego problem. What makes you think I'd even consider having breakfast with you? Now that's a privilege very few earn. I like a woman that is educated too. Your poor spelling and grammar show me that you are not very bright.

  • I'll say what I like because I'm 6'5" and I eat punks like you for breakfast.

  • I think I saw a zipper on this sharks belly. This proves there is an actor inside this costume. But I have one more important question. Do sharks have big wiener's?

  • lmfao. an actor in a shark suit swimming around pretending to be a shark...thats the most hilarious thing i think ive ever heard. i wanna try it...

  • If you like sharks check out adoptashark(dot)com it´s a website where you can adopt a shark, even a great white, with a satellite tag and they tell you where it went in the ocean, how deep, and more, very cool

  • The baby shark would of died on the ocean without a mother.Aquairums are here for you to learn about sea life and fresh water life. So that baby sharks aren't left without mothers and aren't killed.Sharks in free areas are mostly killed by useless idiots that think that its good. For screaming children, fish are scared of sound vibrations, not screams. The glass is thick for the shark not hear anything. SAVE the OCEANS!

  • Actually, sharks are not the world's best moms! In fact, they would eat their pups as soon as they were born if they get the chance!

  • Regardless of if they can keep them in "a big enough tank" they shouldn't.

w/e i would looove to be taken from the world and kept in a cell big enough for me to live in for the rest of my life while people poked the glass and made obnoxious little children noises. :/ yup thats the life for me, too MBA shark.

  • carcharadon charcarius/ "Great white Shark" arenow possible to keep in large enough tanks with enough cirkulations and flow in the water,.. But last time they had a Grt white They had to let it go, because it started to eat and behave agressive against it`s other tankmates and staff cleaning the tank

  • How r they keeping that poor animal alive carcharadon charcarious can't live in aquariums

    ...where is monterey bay aquarium

  • It's right on the shore of Monterey, California.

  • They CAN keep it. It did very well there. They released it into the wild because they were only holding it for study.

  • the longest a gw lived in captivity was 200 something days.. they dont survive long in captivity

  • Thank you, I am glad to see someone with a brain here.

  • Also, do you see this jackass trying to sound intelligent. Yes, everyone knows its scientific name. You fail to impress me, pitiful man.

  • crazy bastards holding one of them
