You're talking about the Church of Satan, which, ironically, IS the group being filmed in the video. They do not literally believe in demons, but they do perform magic rituals as theatrical drama.

Also, Anton LaVey, founder of the CoS, didn't really care if people though Satan was real or not, just so long as they didn't act subserviently. He also speculated that curses could possibly work supernaturally. You can find this in his writings.
