I also thought that the best Heavy Metal comes from Finland, and I was wrong. The only perfect bands from Finland are: Wintersun, Ensiferum, Lordi, Nightwish, Kalmah and Sonata Arctica. What is wrong? Wintersun have only one album, in 2007 Nightwish sold out and became pop, Sonata Arctica started to suck with The Days Of Grays. Other Finnish bands suck like Cob, Norther and they became Metalcore in 2011. Other bands from Finland suck.

Example swedish melodic metal, almost all of them are one and same band; In flames, Scar symmetry, Arch enemy and many, Many more... That "Göteborg" fucking style is so seen and done nowadays, sorry but that is how it is. So that's why Sweden is not first, Sweden need's more original bands. Still my personaly hails for Swedish top bands: Hammerfall, Amon amarth.

Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Gorgoroth, Enslaved, Burzum, Troll, Abomino Aetas, Koldbrann, Krypt, Mord, Taake, the list goes on... The best black metal in the world. And in the grand discussion between Finland and Sweeden... Which got the better melo? Well, the only swedish Melodic metal i like, is In Flames. Most other great metal bands from Sweeden are Metalcore.

Visited a gig from a finnish band XYZ and you would never be disappointed. Buy a CD from a finnish metal band and you would never be disappointed. When I have to choose between metal from USA or metal from Finland, I choose finnish metal. Metal from the USA sounds like the same s***!
