the cinema version is 116 minutes.

the video version is 116 minutes.

the tv version is 97 minutes. ;)

ohh^^ I like this Robin Hood-film. It is one of the best. (almost good as the Robin Hood with Errol Flynn). The best in this film is Lady marian. Far better than the marian in the Costner-film.

I have to say, Patrick Bergin was the best Robin I seen. And believe it or not, Cary Elwes is the 2nd best. Kevin Costner and Russel Crowe are too dry. What makes the Legend of Robin Hood so cool is Robin's personality, wit and charm. These are characteristics that both Kevin and Russell lack.

i just have it on dvd in a 104 minutes version... the vhs version is 116 minutes and the original uncut version is 133 minutes but there isn't a dvd of that versions :(

Has anyone got the full 1hr54min version on disc please? Its available on a VHS in the US. I love this film, know the locations very well and worked at Peckforton castle when the sets were still standing. Good times.

@BluesmanDizzy I haven't seen the Russell Crowe one yet, so I can't comment on that. All I can say about that one is, judging from the trailers, Crowe looks way too dour and pissed off for being "Merry" Robin Hood.

@archer1949 Yeah, but it looks so more historically accurate than other versions, which I'm happy about. King Richard the Lionheart wasn't the nice leader as he's often portrayed as, and this version showed that.

@Rosiercentral This version is definitely not a historical document. But it does tone down the whole "evil villainous Normans" that so many other movies wallow in. The Jeroen Crabbe character is this movie's "Sheriff" equivalent and he's treated fairly sympathetically
