The facts in this video SHOULD BE not only taught to girls IN GRADE SCHOOL, but drummed into their heads. And anyone who does not, is guilty of a offense against them, and an offense to nature and God, far worse than a child molester.

Before I really got into politics, my hobby used to be evolutionary biology, and it is hard not to talk about this without invoking God. Even the staunch Atheist Richard Dawkins repeatedly, and heavily, uses the word "God," in describing a BIOLOGICAL process. For example, he uses the expression "God's Utility Function" in his book "River Out of Eden"

I don't think there is anything wrong with women over 40 having kids, but the fact is, most women will not be able to. And my comment was directed at the skewed value system being taught by the school system and the news media, especially with the ( probably ) hoaxed stories of child molester-murderers.

@fitimshaqiri , I heard 40 is usually the point where a women's chance of getting pregnant drops dramatically. It depends on the individual. Most women should realize they are taking a chance if they wait so long before deciding to get pregnant, if they are lucky, they may be like bluetrigerlily who is able to concieve without problem. But the numbers and odds are stacked against them. Sad, but that is how the female body works. At least women should make well-informed choices.

My husband's stepmother needs to stop having kids! She's around my mom's age, 46/47 and she still has young toddlers PLUS her other 10 kids from her 2 previous marriages! I'm pregnant and having a baby pretty soon in 2 weeks or less, it doesn't really make sense for my son to have an aunt who's only 2 months older than him! My father-in-law is not young anymore too, he's freakin' 64 years old! OMG crazy crazy!

I know people say you should have kids in your 20's, but what about people that don't get married until their 30, should they not have kids. I think that's the reason so many young women have kids out of wedlock because they feel that they should have a baby because they don't want to be too old, so instead they get pregnant outside of marriage.

it's not good to have kids when you are too old because you will die when your child is still young....also along with the genetic problems you won't have as much energy to care for the child, imagine if you are 45 and have a kid, when they're a teenager you'll be 60!

We are taking better care of ourselves, so, essentially, these stats are based on the back-in-the-day beliefs. Sorry - but I see women, everyday, in their forties and older, having children the old-fashioned way. You may want to update your views and perhaps become better educated on this subject. Women can now have babies when they are ready. There's no such thing as a biological clock anymore.

I think this guys medical advice is a little bit off even though he is a doctor. I'm my mothers first child and she had me when she was 30, my sister when she was 34 and my brother when she was 36. All of us came out fine. However, I have seen women have children in their 20s with different types of birth defects.

Pregnancy and fertility is different for all women. For myself, I didn't get married until age 31. My then husband had fertility problems (varicocele) and we never concieved. I got divorced 4 years later, met my current husband and got pregnant the first month of trying at age 35. I had a beautiful healthy pregancy and baby boy at age 36. I am now 41-would like another but know my chances are not so great. Don't let these type of videos scare you, however, use your time (age) to your advantage.

Those rates are not accurate and often based on old studies. Every person is different depending on their genetic makeup and lifestyle.

While it is true that more problems can occur, I have plenty of friends in their 30's and early 40's having healthy babies. I am 38 and had genetic screening because of my age and I was told that I had the numbers of a 25 yearold. I got pregnant naturally the first time we tried. It depends on the person.
